That actual finish to the movie (not what I am hearing here) is the only time that I feel Harry James may have been playing. The remainder of the horn playing if not all of it was probably Kirk Douglas doing his stuff!
@Edtique ...umm no, Kirk Douglas did not play one note. It was all Harry James. Douglas did a reasonable job of faking it for the average watcher, but every trumpet player knows he wasn't even pushing the right valves down. :)
