You can fly outdoors with these small coaxial helis, but only if wind is absolutely calm! Otherwise you are pretty much limited to indoor use. But besides that they are great for learning flying an RC heli ;-)

Thanks for watching! I bought the lights on the bay, from a German seller. Try searching for "miniflash" or something like that. Not sure if these are sold outside of Germany though ...

... Says who? LEDs and micro-controller in fact have a negligible power consumption compared to the motors. There was a discussion on a German forum where someone calculated that this lighting system only reduces flight time by around 18-20 seconds! The other, even more compromising factor is the additional weight of the model (about 15%).
