@stangkillinS10 Yea but a H/C/I setup only has So much potential. With a turbo kit (or a blower) the only thing that's holding you back is how much boost the motor can handle. You build a tough motor and you can just keep adding boost and making more power. No way in hell a H/C/I motor setup to full potential will ever outperform a motor thats using a turbo/blower to it's full potential. But yes, a proper H/C/I setup will make serious power, especially with an LS motor.

@CREAMFILLEDANISH85 umm. i think this is wrong... because driving my turbo 87 supra, if im going say 25 mph in 3rd gear and go right to WOT it takes a second to spool the stock CT-26 and it takes even longer in 4th and 5th.. 1st and 2nd gears theres still some lag but its not as noticeable... this is on the stock tune.. in a turbocharged system theres always going to be atleast some lag... it will just be less noticeable with a larger engine because it has the extra tq to mask the lag...
your car can handle 10 pounds but thats about it. then you need internals injectors etc..my buddy ran 10 pounds all day in his..very fun to ride in..now hes upgraded to a bigger cube engine and bought a bigger turbo and putting it all together hes going to run like 19-20 pounds and hes expecting to have like 1000+ horsepower i cant wait! PS: the bigger cube engine(i forgot what size) is like fully built its head/cam and all that good stuff id assume hes expecting to run single digits forsure!!
@christburg101 Yes they do. You can run the TT set ups on pump gas up to 7psi each turbo making around 600whp from what I have seen. That is enought to get you deep into the 10's in a camaro.

100k miles. Probably fine. As long as the engine has been kept up with normal maintenace. The ls1 v8 is a pretty tough engine.

Dang it I meant to say turbo. I know the difference. Turbo runs off exhaust gases, while superchargers are belt driven I just get the name's confused sometimes. But I meant to say turbo's go well with automatic cars because the fast shift holds the boost.
As you can hear it isn't any louder than if you had on a performance exhaust or something. Just sweeeet turbo sound with the right amount of V8 growl. Trust me you will love it!!! Listen to all of the other STS f body vids on here so that you get a good idea. As a matter of fact listen to the other just plain exhaust vids and those will be louder than the turbo system.
The kits been on the car for over a year and we have gone as high as 8 psi on pump gas and just 2 weeks ago we raced a gallardo and handed him his ass!! Hehe!
Yeah! There are guys running as high as 15 psi with Methanol injection. As long as you can prevent detonation those motors make some really good power!
what size turbo do you have on your kit? I just bought a kit for my Z28 that came with a upgraded T4 84MM Turbo! Should have it all together soon! How long did it take you to install your kit? I still have some exhaust work to do because i had true duals out of headers and now i have to put the 2 pipes into one for the turbo! Any Hints for the process!
Then just split the pipe after the turbo to two tips like they did from the factory. I don't know about the newer F bodies but the older ones had a single pipe going into the muffler and two coming out.
He just has some LS1 #42 Injectors and no fuel pump! You can do an MSD Boost a pump if you wanted to but it wasn't necessary since we are running low boost and we are above 4000ft.

Auto's are great for supercharged cars. they shift so quickly that they hold the boost very well.

The kits now include a dual exhaust as well as an intercooler. You can see the dual exhaust as the car is leaving.
