Accidentals, my friend. The notes are A (C G#) (C# A) G A C G C A. The major third harmonizes between both the leading tone and the mediant, and the tonic and the sharp mediant. voila.

@takemetodamovies Well, you can hear that the some tones in those chords are not from the C aeolian scale, and you can visualize the notes on the guitar neck and see the chords. It's particularly easy to see on Neon because the chord shape does not change as the bass note changes through F, G, Ab, and Bb.
