cruz is not a professionally trained actor, at least not by our standards. it's easy to spot those that haven't studied the craft.

they never have long scenes on screen, with long shots that involved movement, props and complicated tasks while in character. the director shoots around their weaknesses by always having them say their lines in mid-shot with minimum movement.
