After seeing this video and one of Damon doing this song solo it prompted me to get all the BC discs, Slave to the System and Whiskey Falls. Still trying to get a hold of Damon's solo cd DUST. Anyone know where I can get that??
wow.. I think I'm losing my brain cells.. because I JUST remember that I saw these guys live in Panama City Beach when they were touring for Mirror Ball..1998 I think? almost forgot about it.. I guess I really drank too much back then! lol
I saw the last night of this tour at Summerfest in Milwaukee. When they got on stage Damon said "We started this tour right here at Summerfest 365 days ago. We're ending it here tonight...don't you know we saved the best for last." One of the best musical performances I ever saw. They had their shit wired tight. Good job Canadians! Right on!
Back in the day they were twice the band they are here, which isn't much, Damon didn't sing (Thank God). They had a guy named Adam Murray that freaking ruled.
They were signed and everything and then Adam left the band. No idea what ever happened to him.
Too bad that band wasn't the one who was recorded.
well damon is my cousin and this isnt the reason why im saying that but i know damon can sing better than you, lets hear you sing better. oh and if hes such a bad singer why did he get asked by alice cooper, ozzie ozbourn, etc to go on tour with them??
I've never heard of Adam Murray, and I'm sure he sings just fine, but Damon Johnson is my favorite singer of all-time!!! His voice is so unique and mesmerizing!
Hehe, I got a demo tape from Roman back in the day when they werejust the band playing at the club. Wonder what that might be worth now...? ;P Not giving it up. Seems like it might be a bit priceless now, lol. I wish these guys were still around. Not only was their music hot but they were definitely a fan's band!!!
Good point. Tiny little practice PA system as well as one snare drum. Awesome band. Broken up for quite some time now. Let's hope for a reunion sometime.
I fell in love with these guys the first time I saw them at the club i frequented back in the 90's. (man, do I feel OLD!!!) ;) Thanks for the video!! And for bringing back great memories!
hey dude Im 22 and I feel old lol. Wow thats what music's all about... getting up close and personal with great musicians being one who loves ac/dc and blues thats the esxact same kinda music I play hard rock/blues.
this is the greatest thing i've ever seen...i haven't even watched the 2nd song yet because Got No Shame is incredible...i'm 20 years old and besides my father, i don't know anyone who has even heard of Brother Cane
Thanks Sean... I saw you with ARS, I think in Jax or Atlanta maybe. Your band wasn't half bad either. Love to see (or hear) some of your "bootleg" stuff! Playing at all these days? Catch us up when you get time!!
Every popular band from the 90's knows they couldn't stand up to BC toe-to-toe. Soundgarden had Cornell, yet the other musicians didn't have the chops BC had.
hey, i played drums with the atlanta rhythm section for 10 years, and hung out with damon and scott while they were cutting "seeds" in atl., at triclops studio. great guys, great friends, i miss those guys, especially damon. my now 17 year old son sill talks about that experience! Life is cool sometimes!! Sean Burke
I actually did get to watch them record seed at triclops studio in atlanta. My now 18 year old son still talks about getting to hang out with damon, (watching cartoons). great guys, we were friends because I played drums with the Atlanta Rhythm Section for 10 years, A truly great band, they will be missed!
Voice of Eugena, beautiful and powerful song!
