  • How is this school of martial arts called?

  • コマ送りみたいに速いな。

  • 実手かっこいい!

  • fantastic jitte kata

  • The jitte and jo techniques were very beatuiful.

As always their swordsmenship teaches you some thing new every time you see the katas preformed.

  • inspirational...

  • The best teachers show it through their students. This is fantastic. ^_^

  • you could not be more right. Thanks for your comment, it made me glad that someone still thinks so.

  • I love the Jitte Kata. You dont see those kinds of weapons very much anymore. Does anyone know if Kuroda Tetsuzan Shihan teaches to westerners? Or is his dojo private?

  • Google it, i think i've seen somewhere a dojo in Texas that study under Kuroda sensei.

  • Beautiful culture!

  • AWESOME.........

  • More videos please :)

  • Divine!!!

  • Thanks for uploading this vid. Sensei Kuroda is just awesome, and I think it's actually really cool that he lets his student play the role of the tori rather than the uke. Shows a lot of humility on his part. Awesome.

  • In this video his students are playing the role of the uke all the time :D

You may don't know, but in Kenjutsu, not like in Aikido or Judo, the one who 'wins' is uke.

    Best wishes!

  • Well, in Aikido, it depends on the Shihan: in Saito's kata's, uke always loses because he is the agressor. In Saotome's kata's, tori loses in the first and the last one of most of his series. It teaches a valuable lesson: you never know who comes out victoriuos... might as well be the agressor.

  • Absolutely great.

The Jo part was a nice surprise.

    Thanks
