I find the lyrics depressing. The protagonist on the verge of breakup with his wife/ family. Their only shared interest is 80's music. What a horrendous yet believable scenario.

Hey, thanks man. I think that your bridge (the part I left out) is still excellent, and hopefully can make a reappearance. Also, the dissonance of your (?) second chord shouldn't matter considering the progression also has a major 7 chord. I mean, that's practically living in Miles Davis jazzland, and you brought it back home to To 40 territory. I can't wait to hear your new version.

Haha, yeah the solo was a makeshift one, more to say "here is a cool place for a solo." Hopefully that will be one of the future steps of this project regardless of what Rivers picks.
