Yeah, the camera focus is out of focus. Maybe it was the lighting coming in from the angle you were using. There is a good book to read about using the focus on camera. It's called "Using Focus to Achieve Effects That You Want" by Xavier Indibe. It may not be available in English, but if you find it on-line, you could have it translated through iGoogle I think. It tells all about focus and how to use it.

Please watch the camera focus, the video could have been much sharper than this. It doesn't do justice to the great photos and the text under the photos is unreadable.
