Yes. This does not get you achievements from scratch. You're essentially loading the Guitar Hero data while signed into another Xbox Live profile. GH3 then realizes that you've met the requirements for the achievements, but don't actually have them.

Something like that. You're essentially taking someone else's achievements and duping them over to your own.

oh right well i was wondering, a while back i did a glictch to get me some achievements 1 of them was i brought everything from the shop.. im now trying to get long road ahead but i dnt know if i can get it. ive completed all difficulties "got everything from the shop" and now i need to do 100 online matches. ive been doing the online mathes for ages now so i dnt know if the glitch i did b4 prevented me from getting long road ahead achievement

@shawnb215 Because if you do do this on a profile with Xbox Live, the Xbox Live people might reset your gamerscore because you didn't actually unlock the achievements. That's what happens to the retards that use programs on their computer and a usb to unlock any achievement on any game. It's cool for a while, and then you get your gamerscore reset to 0.

if you have done this and it has given you the achievements on profile 2 ,do this again , but just use profile 2 as controller 1 and profile 2 as controller , and then do the glitch and you will get all the achievments on profile 1

this doesn't work on an xbox live account since when u sign in it will try to sign into xbox live,even if u havent got it connected and will go to main menu and say that the profile has been changed, it only works on an offline account i tried both offline works live doesn't
