  • @poilkjmn That's just completely not true. You look at any of the great players of any instrument and they look like they're enjoying it.

  • Its Gene Gene the dancing machine!!

  • Like, davegeorgesteve said, nobody really looks like they're having fun... If it were me playing, I couldn't stop moving to this song.

  • I love the piano part its so fun to play!

  • The best rendition is at youtube.com/watch?v=mYbA-MVucWc.

  • I play this in my 7th grade jazz band, but not this fast. and of course, not as good ahaa.

  • what is wrong with 3 people?

  • Fantastic! and great sound

  • WOW i play this in my jazz band but not so fast!

  • The only person who looks like they're enjoying themselves is the drummer: with this music it's not just about what you play, but equally how you play it

  • @davegeorgesteve well if ur playing a wind instrument u cant really show emotions with your face..... ur blowing into an instrument.......

  • this is wonderful.

    great for dancing.

  • The Trumpet player is GREAT!

  • Not bad at all! Compared to Count Basie and His Orchestra this performace is in the shadow...in my biased ears.

  • realy nice... I like this one:)

    Dario Salas Big-Band

  • For all of you curiosity seekers out there who want to know who played in the SRO Big Band for this concert; (top row L to R)Larry Giannecchini - gtr, Lee Thornberg, Charlie Davis, Ron King, Bob Burns - tpts (next row) Marty Buttwinick -bass, Curt Berg, Wendell Kelly, Randall Aldcroft - tbns, (next row) Gary Herbig, Brian Scanlon, John Bambridge, Bob Branzell, Glen Garrett - sxs, and on the far left of the stage Kathy Craig on piano.

  • @DonPSweeney whos the sax players

  • Definitely Charley on lead. Bob Burns (now with Earth Wind and Fire) is playing fourth trumpet. Is that Ron King on solo trumpet? I'm not sure.

  • Awesome. Bobby was my private teacher when I was in high school.

  • Oh yeah, love that big band sound! This version cooks. Fantastic trumpet solo. Sax solos are hard to hear, though.

  • nice

  • I learned about this musical number from a children's Halloween book called "Boogie Bones." The main character (a skeleton) dances to this in the book and wins a dance contest!

  • Great band. Wasn't that Charley Davis on lead trumpet?

  • Yes. That's Charley.
