  • she's kind of goofy but I'd do her

  • only you can prevent forest fires

  • OOOH!!! THANKS for the temperature advice ;))) sleeping with it next to the body, packing with it next to the body ;))) great advice ;))))) i just received one through the mail, and my ignition unit and base wont stay connected to the rectangular thingy that connects to the butane cannister....is it supposed to come already connected and stable as a stove unit, or am i supposed to screw it all together somehow? im affraid mine may have come to me broken... Pleze tell ;)))))

  • Nifty!

  • I found that u can fit the smaller pot inside the larger pot and it still fits everything comes in handy when backpacking with a big group the only problem is fitting the other stove but other than that great system

  • must have hug T_T

  • Great little review, however you shouldn't use an open flame around sticks, twigs or dried leaves. Good way to start a Forrest fire. Be a bit more responsible. Next time dig a little area ( expose the dirt or use a rock for the base. ) you can not assume people are as smart as you are when demonstrating and using fire products.

    Overall great review of product.

  • looks like an awsome stove, but for the price i'll stick to my aluminum can alcohol stove.

  • What do you refill the cansiter with? Just normal gas? Or do you have to be refills?

  • @BlueReishiMan its propane iso-butane. buy a new canister every trip is recommended unless you have a pretty much untapped one.

  • @whiteflamemusic Otherwise you will be gambling on if you have enough fuel or not.

  • Thanks. We have the smaller - 2cup/4cup ones. So based off your comment I would be safe with 1 can per boy. Thanks! We tried them out this weekend and they worked great. The boys even figured out that they could make the hot water go farther by sharing it back into the pot once they boiled the noodle parts. Made the limited water we had on our 10 miler go farther. Thanks again.

  • we are a scout troop and going on a 6 day backpacking 50 miler trip. How much fuel should be we planning to bring?

  • @daxcastro I am BSA voluteer with all jetboil products, I had this during a trip with a group of 5 boys and 3 adults our 3 liter jetboil used 11 can of fuel in 7 days(4 meals a day). BTW good luck with that Hiking merit badge

  • @MostTerrifyingWeapon Were you just cooking to a boil (such as you would with dehydrated meals) or were you cooking/simmering for 20-30 min with each meal ?

  • @psilokan 10-15 min on high setting usually

  • i have a mini mini one its like the size of my parm i use for when me and my dad go hiking

  • I'm impressed by the the Jetboil products. Guess it's time to replace my Coleman 400A. Good tip on the handwarmer and fuel canister.

  • Thank you for the review!!!!

  • yeah i was thinkin about buying one of these because i go hiking alot and i hope you dont mind me saying you are a very beautiful woman

  • @specioss butane

  • The only bad part about the jet-boil is it's weight. I believe the msr stove system is much lighter and cheaper

  • she's cute

  • ha "C" not celsius.

  • Great review.

I'm really interested in the jetboils for a first-time camping stove, though they carry a premium price point which is making me think about it before I jump in and purchase one.

I'm also a little concerned with versatility. Less with the GCS but the PCS certainly isn't really meant for cooking meals in aside from maybe freeze-dried pasta, soups or coffee/tea... Hmm!

  • Great review, looking into using this system when I hike the Long Trial in June. Thanks!

  • Great video looking forward for more

  • I have the jetboil pcs. The times it takes for it to boil water have varied widely for me. I used it twice in a row. first time it took 4min 45 secs, secind time it took a little over 6 mins. I do think it's pretty cool though. very compact.

  • Great for camping, looks pretty sturdy as well

  • Nifty!!!???? LOL! That's so sexy.......I really like this ladies opinions, and her reviews. Makes me smile.

  • How do you turn it off?

  • you turn off the gas-supply, there is a small gas regulator for more ore less gas and you turn it off like a butane stove.

    Great video bdw.

  • Thanks! Yes, it is a great video--clear, concise, and informative.

  • you shoot the canister with a 45.

  • @toounfazed You turn the gas off. The silver knob you open to get the gas flowing you just close and it cuts off in a second.

  • Great Review! I like the product I think it's great for caping with the family or even Excellent for Parks where you are not allowed to have camp fires.

  • @wilcox1219 Camping lol

  • Excellent for big groups... Not so good for one or two..

  • The problem with those canisters is that as they lose pressure (from burning your fuel) they will also drop in temperature, further impeding the ability of the stove to vaporize (and burn) the fuel.

Stick with white gas or alcohol for altitude/low temperatures. I love my MSR Pocket Rockets, but won't bring them on winter camping trips.

  • they should have used an light alloy for the wind screen.for what you can expect to pay you'll want it to be durable too! great vid!

  • Another great review. I've seen both of these items in the store and wondered how well they really work. I'm sold on the efficiency of the heat exchanger and the self containment makes it a good choice for even a light pack set. 5/5

  • This is a stove you could cook on.... should that be part of the video?? and maybe you could cook on both of them and give us your opinion of the two stoves?? Fry some fish? or eggs & hashbrowns??.... I'm getting hungery...Hurry!!....

  • no, u act big then get mauled to fuck

  • i'd love to see a video about preventing and dealing with bear attacks

  • i want one. Can I win one by watching this video?

  • Will it scare bears away?

  • To scare bears away you will need two jetboils to bang together.. I always pack two bulky ass jetboils, bears frighten the shit outta me.

  • haha!
