@PJHeadFooT yes johnny cupcakes and all other shirts are printed like this , I am in need of some designs and graphics for shirts for upcoming events, and shirts , if you or anyone you know is good at what they do as far as designs , please contact me , I am looking for affordable or reasonable artist , quick and reliable bogardz@gmail.com
this is an uncomfortable and slow device, notice you have to strengthen the table whith your leg every time you print .thank u all the same for showin this vid!!!!
This was a very good video, thanks for producing it. I've done one color screenprints on my own with a Speedball kit and this gave me a lot of insight on how to effectively make more complicated designs.
Use a hair dryer until the ink is no longer tacky, cover the print with newspaper, and iron on high for 3-5 minutes. (Time may vary depending on the ink. Speedball ink available at Hobby Lobby recommends 3-5 minutes.)
what if you layer the ink?like what if i screenprinted a second layer on top of ink thats already dried(not touching the shirt but just the first layer of ink)
no wakas mate im soooo keen on doing this for a living i've already got a workwear shop too back me and im about to "invest" alot of money. do it once do it properly kind of attitude i think i need some of ur movies too.
Actually it's screwed down to the table and doesn't move. It's the table that nearly gets pulled over. Make sure you have a very solid table or desk if you're going to attach a table top press to it. Thanks for the input though!
Well that's our website. If you live in the area (Portland, OR area) you'd be able to walk in and buy from us. As far as store stuff? Not that I know of but possibly. Sorry about that.
You said that you want to clean the screen when changing to a larger shirt like an XL so theres no ghost marks, now does that go for all shirts? Like small to medium?
hi, I just did my first batch of shirts and on some of them the ink cracked and eventually washed off. now was that because I didn't cure them long enough or do I need to use a stretch additive?
Cracking could also be a symptom of over curing. A $40 temperature gun from your hardware staore will eliminate the guesswork. Get one with a laser sight and point it at the ink as it is curing. You should reach a minimum of 330 degrees F.
you mention that in between colours, if their not touching you dont need to flash cure and that the build up of colour under neath the other screen is ok, but if ur using a thick ink like rubber or plastisol ink wont that build up eventually get bigger and bigger and ruin the shirt? what inks were you using in this video? rubber or plastisol i presume..
thanks for uploading this extremely informative video :) :)
You guys are awesome, we order all our products from you. And for those of you guys and gals, who see this message and video, you should check out their site, everything you need is on their site. yugiboy123123 5 months ago
@yugiboy123123 You can make ink glossy, matte, or any tone you want, it just depends the type of ink you put through the screen.

bzzzzzzzzzzt Wrong.
A hair dryer won't get to the high temp that plastisol ink requires to cure. Get a handheld heavy duty commercial dryer .. NOT a hair dryer.

ahhtoma 3 years ago
probably you havent cured them enough but there are quite a few things to take into account.
try more curing time and more temperature but on two different shirts.
It's not that easy to get right but once you get the temperature and time right you're good to go.
try a few different settings but it's almost always better to leave it in your curing unit a few more seconds.

No, plastisol ink does not air dry. You need to cure it with a dryer.
