The Boss is supposed to be a track/race car for the street, a striped down GT souped up with roll cage, no back seats, race mod engine calibration with the track key, etc. The ZL1 is just a super street car thats been improved, even with 400lb plus more over the Boss.

I don't like the new Camaro at all. GM missed the retro look again with this car just like they missed with the GTO a few years ago. GTO meant muscle and this new one was a Grand Am in appearance. The Camaro while it tries to look like muscle it does not have the same appeal as the Challenger or Mustangs retro looks.

This company is in Irvine, CA and i work for them. Its called Aria-Group and we are associated with Hurst our next door neighbors. Me and this other guy install all the upgrades on this and other camaros. see the fact of the matter is the supercharger is only tuned to 6psi...boost up the psi to like 10 or 12 and you have potential for serious power..not to mention i also drive these cars to get aligned and dyno and boy they are stupid fast i tell ya

you should try to make the start with the traction control deactivated. this being valid for all the cars you test . the 4.1 sec time for 0-60 is a joke with the TC activated, i bet you made at least a second more :) to 60 in the presented start

Booster CAM, headers, CAI, exhaust, supercharger, fuel system, and a bunch of suspension upgrades. Approx $20k., and Hurst car is alread beat. Spend the $5k on some forged internals, increase boost from the SC to 10 - 15psi. easily make over 800rwhp. And, to all the bonehead morons that call people names, it's obvious Hurst wants to turn a profit. My point is you can do it yourself much better and cheaper.
@SuperKasper92 Camaro SS stroked to 427ci., w/ forged internals, booster cam and an ProCharger SC will put this car to shame. Fords are out of the competition a long time ago.

@5959512 actually you get a bit more then that..You do get the supercharger like you said, You also get a paint scheme(not graphics), a Hurst short shifter with an iodized shift nob, full Eibach suspension(coilovers, sway bars, etc), 3" Magnaflow cat back exhaust, 20" custom designed HRE wheels fitted with Michellin tires, custom stitched interior from Katzkin, and not to mention they are limited Hurst edition cars. See i know this cause i worked on that same Camaro you saw on that video.

This is what it takes for the Camaro to beat the Mustang (GT500 or 5.0 GT). I saw one of these first hand last night. It has to be the only Camaro I like. That's saying a lot from a Mustang fan. Still, it's price tag is sky-high and it only performs on par with a GT500.
If you watch the other motortrend videos, the Hurst Camaro beats both the Roush 427 Mustang and the SMS 570 Challenger. But all three are very close in performance.

you should try to make the start with the traction control deactivated. this being valid for all the cars you test . the 4.1 sec time for 0-60 is a joke with the TC activated, i bet you made at least a second more :) to 60 in the presented start

those are very impressive numbers out of a camaro, im a mustang guy, and i have to say this is an impressive car, but the price is too much for what you really are getting in a performance standpoint, not that i wouldnt be interested in one or wouldnt snap pictures of one at a car show haha

@fjtrkdjffg I'm making 475rwhp. currently. I'm well on my way to about 700rwhp/660lbtq.
Booster CAM, headers, CAI, exhaust, supercharger, fuel system, and a bunch of suspension upgrades. Approx $20k., and Hurst car is alread beat. Spend the $5k on some forged internals, increase boost from the SC to 10 - 15psi. easily make over 800rwhp. And, to all the bonehead morons that call people names, it's obvious Hurst wants to turn a profit. My point is you can do it yourself much better and cheaper.

The rear tires are abviously over powered. Put slicks on it, get it to a prepped

@5959512 i think it cost that much mainly cause it is like a certified car... i payed 35k for my 2ss and i put a hurst shifter in it for 300 dollars.. and my next mod will be a procharger supercharger making the same horse as this car or a little more. costing around 43k total for everything install including the car..

@5959512 actually you get a bit more then that..You do get the supercharger like you said, You also get a paint scheme(not graphics), a Hurst short shifter with an iodized shift nob, full Eibach suspension(coilovers, sway bars, etc), 3" Magnaflow cat back exhaust, 20" custom designed HRE wheels fitted with Michellin tires, custom stitched interior from Katzkin, and not to mention they are limited Hurst edition cars. See i know this cause i worked on that same Camaro you saw on that video.

I love chevys. I have a '92 rs with an LS1, my mom has an Avalanche, and my dad a silverado. However we all agree that the new camero is a completes disappointment. I would happily take a mustang, be it a V6 (preferably not), a GT, a GT500, or a Super-Snake (preferably)

This is what it takes for the Camaro to beat the Mustang (GT500 or 5.0 GT). I saw one of these first hand last night. It has to be the only Camaro I like. That's saying a lot from a Mustang fan. Still, it's price tag is sky-high and it only performs on par with a GT500.

If you watch the other motortrend videos, the Hurst Camaro beats both the Roush 427 Mustang and the SMS 570 Challenger. But all three are very close in performance.
