  • Did you take a photograph of your TV screen showing the required score and then send it to Activision headquarters to get a merit patch?

  • im 31 from argentina and i remember this game was awesome. my brother 36 has a dynacom and this was the best game

  • One of the Best games ever. A friend of mine lost when he was going to save the last miner. He is 34 years old now and he says that even now, at least once a month, he remembers the day when he almost won this game!

  • I miss that game! I played it all the time.

  • I've been playing through H.E.R.O. for the PS2's Activision Anthology, do you know how many levels there are?

  • I'm pretty sure it goes on for an infinite number of stages, like nearly all games had back in the time. The farthest that you can select to start on the menu for A Collection of Activision Classics for the Atari 2600 on the Sony PlayStation is level 66, I believe.

  • plz man help me find a working rom for this game ....i luv this game but i dont have a atari .... :'( so sad .... i looked all over the net for this game n i nvr find a working rom plz help me ... thanx

  • There aren't any known Atari 2600 ROMs on the Internet for this game (or any others, for that matter), but it has appeared in several compliations released for various consoles. If you do want some sort of ROM downloaded to your computer, there is one available for the Activision Anthology for the Game Boy Advance, which I'm sure contains this game within its collection.

  • ight then ... thanx a hole lot man ... i saved my life

    lol

  • No problem.

  • never played it.Bu it is gut.

  • Copyright 1984 Activision. See, there were good games in 1984, they were just hard to find.

  • Whoa, now this game looks really awesome - both funwise and graphic wise! The water effect looks great.

  • Esse era um dos meus preferidos.Viva o Atari !

  • The vertical stages remind me of Megaman 2.

  • The only real vertical part I can think of is before you get to the suprise battle when Mega Man is falling. There were a few vertical parts in some of the stages, too, from what I remember. I haven't played it for about two years.

  • Well, there's a lot of vertical scrolling in quickman's stage.

  • Yes, and a few minor ones as well in other parts, such as the 4th stage in Wily's castle. I have recently played Mega Man 2 again, but I didn't yet respond to SuperPCEngineGrafx's comment.

  • Oh I played this on a Atari Collection for the PS2 its a fun game.
