I'm kind of worried about some of the individuals posting on here... Grammar and punctuation? WTF?
Beyond that, for medical students, you all must have a TON of time to be on Youtube. My dad, sister, and two brothers are all surgeons and I know they didn't have time to sleep, much less look up and post about general programs when they were in med school and in their residency... Just sayin.'

@daniel1987545 how does that work, it's 4 years in college, 4 in med school and you get you MD. degree and if you want to specialize in a certain field you do residency in that field???
Undergates(BS - 4 years)
Med-School(4 years)
your M.D. degree.
and study further if you want to specialized - is this how it works?
@Cuz155 well for me it would be five years of college becuz im a double major but yeah it's usually 4 years college, 4 years med school, but that med degree is just you becoming a medical physician, every physician has a specialty, towards the end of med school they have matching day where the med student finds out where they'll spend their residency, then once you finish that you'll be certified to work your specialty...med students apply 2 residency programs n the final year of med school
@Cuz155 depending on what you want to specialize in determines how long the residency training will be, but you'll be a physician then, just training under a doctor whose already practicing in your field...i want to do surgery so thats like, i think, 6-7 years residency (grey, on greys anatomy were supposedly in surgery residency lol) i think family residency is likw 3-4yrs, radiology 4-5 years and etc...oh and to your question im a junior at USC so thats why i only have a 1 1/2 yr left ;-0

Give respect for the people who put in 18+ years to operate on brains like your own. They're the reason you'll survive should you have a brain tumor.
