  • sedash yekhorde bade, mishe bolantaresh kard?

  • the practical and objective aspects of our life. I am not saying that is Dr. Sorush's main and only approach. Of course not, but I think he should be more involved in discussions that take us from where we are, the state of mind that we are when doing routine daily life obligations and reconcile this aspect of us to the divine aspect that we have by just mentioning verses, reading poems and stories that remind us we can always connect to the higher end just by trying to feel how serene it is.

  • with the aim of taking some holy, serene rather mystical and unspeakable parts of our experiences in life and transfer it to some words that explain the holy experience that we have had (or our perception of the holy affair) and form our understanding of religion in this way and be committed to this method. Instead of starting off with explaining what the holy and ideal sort of experience (that is hard to explain and is felt by different people in different ways) and then trying to apply it to

  • I think that Dr. Sorush has always played a very considerable role and done magnificent job in mixing rational discussion with the inspirational and emotional realms of the religion in attempt to represent to the society a more acceptable and amiable face of religion. In my opinion, too, that is how the religion in its true and original form, is. But the issue that I have with this approach is, we should only research and review religion with the aim of taking ...

  • He has logic in his arguments and that's refreshing!!

To reach a larger mass in Iran, specifically the rural people, we have to talk to them in their language and these people are religious!

If we don't capture them through people like Dr. Soroush then the extremists like Ahmadinejad will do!!

If we wish for democracy in Iran, we need a government which consists of all religions and ethnicities that exist in Iran!

  • I am very suspicious that Soroush has never got a PhD. Can somebody please confirm this or otherwise. I think it is really worth it guys. Thanks

  • @aramian21 please go and read one of his books then u will get ur answer.

  • man asheghe sher'am vali na az har dahani
