@04h239 : they do a lot of funky stuff...have you listened to their album "no code"? it's got a lot of funky kind of stuff...jack irons (also former RHCP drummer) being a big influence in that..pearl jam is pretty eclectic...it's hard to pigeon hole them...i usually just refer to them as a "rock band" because they've spanned so many different kinds of music through the years...
