@Hazzard36 1/3 of the world drives on the left like they do in Britain actually. With many of those countries who now drive Left hand drive cars originally starting by driving right hand drive vehicles like they still do in the UK. Italy for instance was right hand drive originally. The UK just never changed to left hand drive. Due to our more isolated nature it didn't make financial sense. Lot of money to redesign one way systems and replace all the signs etc.

This story made me sad as a Lancia fan and Delta owner. Truely one of the best automobile makers in the world. Italians build cars with passion and you can never want something else after driving an italian car. I have only owned Alfas and Lancias and this article truely touched me.

Yep, Lancia is slowly dying now. The downfall started with the discontinuation of the Thesis (mad but brilliant car), the new Delta which is an abomination, and, most importantly perhaps, the change of the emblem. You DON'T mess with the emblem, which a good friend of Vicenzo himself designed for him; he made three concept-designs of which Vicenzo choose the well-known lance and flag. "Oh we'll do away with that, it's outdated" I can hear the current knobs saying. Knobs.

Lancia's were not about showing off and rally pedigree, all lancia's had a heart as solid as nothing else and they were all beautiful. Lancia's were amazing in every way and everyone who bought one just didn't care that they were badly made or had critical problems, they just cared that they had a lancia.

At the same time, the UAW owns over 60% of Chrysler, so if you want to say they're owned by anyone, it's the workers. That said, the Fiat Group is working very closely indeed with Chrysler to produce new cars. Chrysler 300s with a Lancia badge, Vipers with Ferrari technology, etc.
