holy crap, i'm a freshman in high school and i play cello & we're playing dance of the furies at the end of september. obviously it will be a lot slower than this, and we're also not shifting so much. also just curious, but i noticed a bit of the four seasons in there... i notived it because in dance our performance had bits from summer, spring, and fall in it. anyway. good job, you look like a ninja, i wish i was that good. just wondering what the whole furies-four seasons- furies thing was:P
OMFG!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! love the animation goin on dude :) made that muh more perfet...i love musicians who throw themselves into the music......ugh simply awesome
my high school orchestra is practicing this piece in school.... and...well its fast... lol its a pretty difficult piece. its nice to hear this in the normal pace.
I guess being in such prestegious orchestras come with big commitments. Well you seem to enjoy it, so its good that you're in a profession you're passionate about.
I play viola now, and i want to play cello really badly. Wow that was kinda random. I guess its cause your playing kinda makes my desire stronger to play the cello.
I remember this is one track on that album, same arrangement also. It's a rondo of two themes by Vivaldi(Storm) and Gluck(Dance of the Furies). Hooked on Classics became part of my growing up too, my first step in appreciating classical music. Thanks a lot for posting this rendition, 'twas a wonderful performance and also made me reminisce some cassette tapes from my childhood. :-)
Why change from Gluck to Vivaldi ...

RCM= Royal College of Music, so i take it a no. I keep watching this. You look kinda possessed near the end O_o
stevey226 4 years ago
possesed? No. It's just a competition between me and Constantin (concertmaster). Simple challenge. "keep it together". ROFL
Had fun though.
Thanks for all the great comments. I'll be adding more vids here shortly.

Why a sad face?

gets busy sometimes. Also means mounds of music to keep up with. Seasons get incredibly busy, and half my time is on the road sometimes.

i love how you were the only person who got into the music.
Nice song, and amazing playing!
Are you in a professional orchestra?
