the midwest women of rural American are plain or what they used to call 'handsome'. Susan is not ugly, she does have extra large eyebrows, and unruly hair, but my hair does it's own thing too, (I got good eyebrows though and don't even have to shape, but got that big British nose!) anyway, unless you look like a movie star who is picked for the screen or nip/tucked to be that way, MOST people have flaws and her basic bone structure and face is kind, nothing wrong with Susan at all.
