I tell you that I am restoring a 1968 Dodge Dart that year I love dart but here in chile there a few parts for these cars but Are what I can to make it beautiful if you could give me a hand with your opinion and appreciate the wisdom, I leave my facebook account if you have one (victor manuel contreras pinto) and agradecente again for your videos have helped me in my joby
hi james, I hope this all right over there, greetings from chile and your restorations are spectacular thanks for uploading your videos excellent compliments victor pinto
@sanchtech It's a nice piece but you pay for it. I wiped the name off the boot didn't think it'd be so obvious but I guess once you see the red and black. Took me six months to save up but when dissmantling a old car nothing beats it, knocks the bolts right off.
hey ya i am unsure on what Cindy wants of her camero but you could always clear-coat the tank if you already have concerns about the tank tarnishing ?
@vcval Clear coat won't last on polished metal especially with the caustic fuel fumes. We could have anodized it but the main concern will be maintenance and keeping the oils from our hands and road grime off it.
@zzzdogutube Did it twice that day made a request for the boss to retrieve new parts and realized I had them already. Makes me look real together doesn't it. If I keep on pace I'll have to buy a Camaro for all these extra parts.
wow even the gas tank is shining, thats what i call a clean car, lol, real nice build, was the tank painted?then polished out, thankx for sharing, take care
@57danjr It was a slow day it was either the gas tank our my ripping the suspension out of a 73 Duster for a swap into a '68 Barracuda. Should have done both.
i powder coated mine

@TheRickfix Tank isn't painted that's the galvanized finish she polished out. Going to have to keep up on that or it will tarnish.
