@LazyGeneration5 Pinnacle Studio 12 did not come with the Motion Titles. Pinnacle did release version 15 of the software last week...so the good news is that you can upgrade your existing software to latest version...skipping over version 14 and you will get the Motion Titles that you see in the is video.

@LazyGeneration5 No it is not free...there is a charge to upgrade your existing software...you can go to the Pinnacle Website to check out what the costs to upgrade Studio 12 to Studio 15.

@23Zon23 You can always upgrade your version of Pinnacle Studio that you got with the Dazzle product. Also, Pinnacle released Pinnacle Studio 15 last week...so can upgrade your existing version of the software to the latest version.

@TheRealMrTowel There are three versions of the sofware...it starts at $49 and goes to $129 depending on which version you purchase...the versions are Pinnacle Studio 14 HD, Ultimate and Ultimate Collection. The Ultimate Collection comes with all of the effects...I highly recommend that. Also Pinnacle just released a new version of the software... Pinnacle Studio 15.

@xXPeAnUtXx88 I believe that the Dazzle product does not come with Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate Collection, which is the version that I am showing here in this video. Remember that there are three different versions of Studio 14...HD, Ultimate and Ultimate Collection...and only Ultimate and Ultimate Collection come with Motion Title.

@juicydoll94 If you check under the settins you can see there are several choices for your video timeline. If you select an HD timeline then all of your titles will be in HD. So yes with your version of Pinnacle Studio you will be able to create HD videos too.

@mp40ist There are two different titles available from the pull down menu: Standard Titles which are created in Title Deko and then Motion Titles which are created using the new motion titler in Pinnacle Studio 14. When under titles you will see a pulldown menu...this is where you select the titles you want!

Hello Anthony, Thanks for the reply, the version of pinnacle I have is the standard basic HD 14. I was playing around with the menu settings and it says I can only have one menu page per project. I've decided on an upgrade because the motion titler is ace and also I'd like to burn DVD's with the normal choises of 'start movie' or 'chapters' main menu page folowed by seperate chapter choise if the chapter button is chosen. I followed your directions and got the edit menu working, thanks.

Hello Anthony, I'd really like to do a 'proper' DVD menu but don't like any of the standard offerings on the Studio HD 14 version. Is it possible to make one from a video clip, or would I have to upgrade? your yeah or neah will save me a stack of time and frustration. Thanks in advance, Martyn. @MrTeatime2 I do not know which version of Pinnacle Studio you have? Depending on which version you have you will see an EDIT Menu button.  First Add a menu to your timeline and then click on the menu in the timeline....you will see that there is a button that says Edit Menu...Click on it and you will be able to change backgrounds and buttons.

@LiveMeerkat Here is the best thing about the motion titles in Pinnacle Studio 14 you can create your own and then save the templates to use later. There is no reason to buy them...just make your own.

@LiveMeerkat Any of the titles that you create in the Motion Titler can be saved as MY TITLES. Simple create a title and then do a Save as...it will be saved under My Titles and you will be able to access your custom title anytime or change the text if you want.

@niterider00007 Yeah there is a cost to upgrade...I do not know what that cost is.  You might want to call Pinnacle or just click on the button to find out how much an upgrade would cost.

@GunlockBen Have you updated the drivers for your graphics card (in the computer)? Sometimes a computer is running with old drivers and this can cause certain things (like graphics) to not appear when you go to use them.

@TheFilmNation There are a number of ways to be creative with layers in Pinnacle Studio. Remember Studio has two video tracks and one graphic track. Montages and the Motion Titler can be set on any track. Motion Title can let you create 8 layers of Video, Photos and Text on a single track. The Montages which are preset will let you have up to six layers on some of them. You can stack these on top of each other to create some amazing layered effects.

Cant really compare a cheap video editor compared to a 600$ advanced one.:D

@GreenPepperTeam thats not always true you know, a cheap video editor is windows movie maker, some pinnacle programs depending on what you do can be more advanced if you want them to be, to me when i think editing? i go with a company that only specializes in editing software, i dont think sony when it comes to editing, i think sony when it comes to cameras or T.Vs to watch my edited project on, but thats just me, some people will say sony has better editing programs and others say pinnacle.

ChevyJP86 brings up some interesting points...Pinnacle has been an ediing company forever from Broadcast Television to Consumer Editing. For the price of Pinnacle Studio you can do some amazing effects and titles. Personally a good editor can edit on any program to make a good film. Pinnacle Studios main advantage is that it is easy to use and that is important for most beginning editors .

@Freakaleek3344 Anything that has the Pinnacle Logo on it needs to be upgraded. Each upgrade has a specific key based off of your serial number...I recommend you go with the upgrade it is not very expensive.

Those animations that you see like the sparkles and particle animations can be created using the Pinnacle Studio 14 plug ins from Red Giant. Six plug ins come with the Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate Collection. Make sure you check those out.
