@GumaPk Usually this is caused by the wrong version of screen being installed. I would check to make sure that the replacement screen is the exact match / version of the N95 you have.

@Shobna9 If it is the LCD flex cable which is damaged, then replacing your LCD screen will give you a new flex cable which will resolve the issue. However, there are many "cables" throughout the N95, so it depends on which cable is damaged. We do offer replacements screens and parts at RepairsUniverse (dot) com. Good luck!

Do not attempt to try it will the wrong screwdriver as you will strip the screw and then it is really hard to remove.

i have a nokia n95 8gb! i seem to be having problem with the lcd. the screen has gone blank or dark but there is still power on the phone! im still able to call it and call someone but i cant see anything! how much would it cost to repair it and how long would it take?

My N95 since todays morning is going nuts.

The screen often gets mirrored and blurry, and sometimes only showing half of the screen, if i close the slider it corrects.

If it works properly when open when closed it messes up.

Any clues of what it might be?

cattieman182 - that is exactly what has happened to mine. I followed the instructions, the connector ribbon seems to be firmly in place, i cant see how i can possibly make the connection between the ribbon from the new screen and the connection on the phone any better.

I get the power on sound, and also the blue LCD's under the keypad, but no pic/light whatsoever on the actual screen.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

guess your only choice now is to take it to a phone doctor... atleast you won't have to buy a new lcd through them. they charge an arm and a leg for lcds the bastards.

hi the only way you can disassemble it is by destroying the front housing and buy the new front housing or try using T6 bit.

Yes !! if the t5 screw is strip already the only way you can removed by destroying the front housing not the rear slide , you have to save it and once you open it , then thats the time you can removed the golden screw holder from the rear silver slide and ive done hundreds of customer having the same problems with you , if you dont know how to do it carefully , just ask the the pro and they will do what ive tell you .Thanks for the reply and goodluck !!!!

You got to have a Torx-5 (T5) screwdriver. Without that tool, you'll probably (just like me) fuck up the screws, and make it nearly impossible to get them out. After I 'screwed' it, it costed me a lot of work to get them out.

My father helped me, he's an optician, so he's very experienced with screws en all that. We finally used an automatic grinder to make a little trench in the head of the screw, which made it possible to use another screwdriver. Good luck!

You may of blown the backlight on the LCD. Its hard to say for sure without seeing but hopefully its just the LCD.

the little "handle" on the phone lcd connector is very breakable. lift it very carefully.

(as shown at 1mn23).
