  • best song from one of the best game i've played.......thnx for upload :)

  • This and "Those Who Are Shining" are the only best tracks in the game period...

  • I got really sad when my character turned into stone. Then when elazul and pearl returned home and talked to lisa and bud, I thought he was dead at first...I mean wtf I'm the main character. lol

  • @azgalorazgalor17 I was the same way when I played that part. I thought "Oooh, how are they going to play around this?"

  • LOMで一番好き。

  • What many people can't understand is that OST of games, and animes can express the emotions or a part of the life to the person, doesn't matter if the game is older than you or the grafics aren't good, what matters is the musics that you will never forget.

  • this game has been with me thru out my childhood. god its wonderful and gives me goosebumps every time :)

  • I can play this song on the piano it's so easy

  • beautiful song.

  • i used to play LoM when i was in elementry school..

i'm not even in high school anymore! its soo long ago

im looking for this game i neeeeed it!!

  • @WithLoveFromKay You can only purchase it secondhand now. I bought my copy on eBay for $50 in 2005. I imagine it's worth more than that nowadays.

  • @Aelfrey I got a "like new" copy of this game for about $70.00 on amazon.

You are lucky to get it at any price under $80.

  • @DBoyNasty

That sucks dude. That's a lot of money! The PlayStation Store just got it for $5.99 to download.

  • @CaitSithIsGod NICE!!! Legend of Mana FTW!!!!!!!!!

  • Ive cied so much to this song, it is so beautiful =3

  • I also hope they come out with more golden sun games as well... or at least the feeling of games like these games

  • I feel adventure coming from this song... unfortunately all the games now days are about modern warfare (including the actual game cod mw etc.) and destruction. I cant seem to find any more games for ds/gba/ game cube/ps2 about adventures like fire emblem, legend of mana, and more games that have that feel of adventure

  • so nice, I can still remember myself playing legend of mana back in highschool, now I'm graduating. Love Elazul

  • Dammit, this makes me want to cry so much.

  • Gosh, me too. Makes me so goddamn depressed...in a kind of good way.

  • @Supawaffle It's sombre.

  • It was supposed to be in Halo 2, it's on the soundtrack that was never released, but they took it out since it was on this game too. It would actually be a pretty good song for Halo, but it was rejected.

  • but its originally from square soft's legend of mana thats probably why it didnt make it to halo.

  • stfu. you liar

  • @wonggfan you can look it up if you want. There are even a few youtube videos here with this song on as part of the OST for Halo 2.

  • @takashimomochi newsflash kids. legend of mana came out before halo 1.

  • yeah i heard it on halo 2 in the main lobby. sometimes it would play this tune

  • Music makes a game.

For Legend of Mana, the music just enhanced it so much. LoM is the most beautiful game I ever played.

  • yes, that's true, i love Legend of mana so much

  • This song just makes me want to sit and cry

  • The song tells you how the lives of the Jumi were so hard because they had to live in fear.

  • is'nt this the song when in the jewel city?

  • Yeah.

  • This brings back alot of memmories of me and my cousin teaming up to beat LOM on nightmare mode hahahaha. now i want to play it.

  • Most beautiful song in the world... I love LoM so much ;(

  • great song with a better name, sounds like a band I would listen to

  • Loved the song back then still love it now..it definatly fits the jumi in every way.

  • Yeah, every single way.

  • ...Wow...how sad...This brings me the worst feeling inside of me...T.T... Love this song...

  • Kind of melancholic. Love to learn it on Piano xD

  • honestly this song is truly beautiful

  • this song makes me sad and depressed but at the same time it makes me happy .. I wonder why ..

  • Well things seem happier when the Jumi are back... I can't really explain it, but this song fits the Jumi race and their city perfectly...

  • the transition at 1:02 is an absolute hall of famer..hits me hard every time

  • OOH! LEGEND OF MANA IS MY FAVORITE VG! I STILL HAVE IT.

and does anyone know how to do the poltopa harbor quest? its sooo wierd, i dont understand it haha

  • There are a few quests that take place in Polpota Harbor. Are you referring to Drowned Dreams with the ghost at the hotel? I'm pretty confident that Drowned Dreams will start once you speak with Flameshe and the Flowerling at the mall, Thoma at the beach, and the hotel manager in that order at the harbor.

  • hahahahaaa i played this one 10 yrs ago hehehehee its still the best...:)

  • I can't help but wonder where Yoko drew from for the inspiration of this song.

Very few people have the ability to create out of pure abstract - usually our emotions and memories shape us in our ability to create, whether we admit, or even realize it or not.

This particular composition is so harrowing.

I often wonder what memories led her to evoke such a powerful emotional response? There is a great deal of pain here...

  • This would be the very Top of my list Siren song the second.. thy both have a lovely tune with so much soul you can actually feel it aound you. Sometimes when i hear this song I would remember those sad days and then be happy with it because this song goes with the lonliness and sadness that I have been going through i think rate it to 100000000000000000000000000000/5

  • really love tis music

  • pretty

  • I remember sitting down and playing through LoM with my brother when I was younger and sometimes we'd just wait somewhere and listen to the music. Or get excited when the badass boss music played.

This song is one of the most powerful songs in any video game I've played.

  • have things changed now? i used to be the same now i havent seen my lil bro in 6 years we used to pause the games and listen to music from many other games too.

  • OMG, this song is really good.

  • OMG!!! i love this song ^_^ it makes me cry ;_; but i love it anyway...so where did you get it?on i-tunes?lime wire?plz help me!!!!!!

  • downloads at KHINSIDER

  • ok.but when i click on the dowload button it says ~the file is unavaileble~ ;_; why is that?

  • if u havent got the song yet i can help u let me know if u still want it

  • yeah i do want the song XD

    thank you for helping

  • I love this song so much as well as the game... it's funny though, you know. I don't even like most actual music like you hear on the radio. I mean, seriously, some of them are just retarded and annoying to listen to. It would be funny and weird but also really cool if music from things like Video Games and Anime were actually on the radio. I love those types of songs.

  • Me too. Some of the best songs aren't even listened to that much. Video game music doesnt get enough credit.

  • @AkumaUchitoru they could have a station on the radio that played old nostalgic game music like mario and jazz like that....it'd be pretty chill...

  • >.> jeez why r u commenting the comments down... they really did... im not lying or rooting for halo

  • i upvoted you because i am the seeker of knowledge and power

  • I upvoted you because I know what there is to know, you don't

  • Originally composed for Legend of Mana, somehow, Halo got ahold of it, and made it famous.

Technically, it's Legend of Mana's property, no matter how many fans try and make it Halo's.

  • somehow it reflects the cost cutting approach of today's game developers bc of fierce competition and especially of how today's jap rpgs (unsure about the others) lacked its predecessor's depth. I think a wealthy evangelist should fund the creation of an rpg that can put all games and everything real in this world to a whole new level of shame! Maybe it should be made in a sort of make-to-order development approach via surveys and other tallying approach.

  • Can you word what you just said another way?

No offense, but I didnt understand it.

  • Well, it's ok. I'm very used to it..

    T_T

..just trying to say that now things are getting very competitive in the business world and game development is not an exception. So Halo obtaining the right to use this song isn't bc it's the perfect song but rather i think it's to cut development costs. Same thing w/ RPG. Developing a game w/ lots of 'depth' and 'dimensionality' will only earn the developers marginal or even a negative return from the extra effort put in.

  • No, the Halo song is an exact copy, and even has the same name.

  • You know, I really like Halo, and I found this song through a video saying it was a Halo song, but it can't be. It's never been in a soundtrack as far as I know, and it's never been heard in one of the Halo games. I'm afraid it's only a rumor.

Then again, that's just what my gut tells me based on what I know.

  • No, they used it the promotion of the Halo Zune.

It came with this song, rebranded as a Halo song.

That Zune also came with other stuff, made for fanboys.

    Look it up!

  • Yoko Shimomura...You're a genius!

Why can't they make a Seiken Densetsu game like this!?

  • omg, this ist the best game song ever <3

it is sooooo wonderful ^^ 5*

  • This reminds me of children playing around. And it's also sad in some ways. I love this song, it almost made me cry *sniff* Everytime i hear this song it feels like angels playing around you. I luve this song. 100/100 :3

  • Tears hit my eyes when I first heard this one in the Gem City. Then again when I heard Those Who Are Shining (the one that played for the sequence after you beat the gem monster). It was then that I realized that 1) I am a wimpy game music bastard 2) I am proud of it and 3) I need to get this onto a music player for myself before the last thought was done.

  • My brother is one of those that thinks that music in video games is just padding. What he doesn't understand is that music can convey emotions in people that otherwise wouldn't be there no matter how much story, character development, etc. was there. The music is interwoven in us being able to understand all of it in an emotional way.

  • @zephyrvidar1 As Gustav Holst entitled his famous piece, "Song Without Words". Music is an art, and art is a way to convey ones emotions without having to express them verbally or even physically. When you convey an emotion in a conventional way, it's effect may only last at that moment. When you convey an emotion through, it's effect will live on forever.

  • @CorvetteCoonass through art, it's effect will live on forever.*

  • one of the best songs in lom.

  • love this music

  • The Best Music in the game 3/3 in my ranking

  • 4/3 in my ranking

  • Great work dude, this song is the best of the whole and wonderfull LoM OST,nostalgic like few and beautiful aswell,i still remember the Jumi story and the sad path going forward in the bejeweled city...The city of flickering destruction.Nice one! Regards!

  • yeah, hard to get out of my system, esp the violin part
