Hope PNE come up mate, I do think you are a good club with decent fans. Unfortunately you aren't one of them. To the rest of Preston, good luck in the playoffs.
I agree. I'm a Colchester fan, we've just moved from our Layer Road ground to a new out-of-town all-seater plastic ground. I went a couple of times with an open mind, but now I've given up. The passion and experience is dead, which sums up modern football. Fans are no longer people, merely numbers.
Still love this video, just one thing though, it goes into a narrow-screen for me, is it just me or does it happen to everyone? Thought I'd let people know :)
And to the Vale fan, if it was up to me I'd have you in the top division any day over Stoke. Not sure why, think its from the First Division days, but I really dislike Stoke's supporters and their club. Opening game should be fun ... Bolton v Stoke.
my mate Gibbo is on ere he is the one with the orange cap and white T-Shirt on someones shoulders, come on the whites and the ginger one is the special bolton one.
You wouldn't of gone up if it wasn't for stoke letting up win that game a few matches before, We finished one point behind you! and ending up losing in play-off final to wba!
we need to make the family stand in one big lower tier at reebok and call it lever end that will bring back the atomspehere cmon you die hard bolton fans lets show the world how we do it. bolton till i die
I was there that day. F*ckin' awful. But you got to experience the lows to appreciate the highs. Anyone remember The Northender climbing the floodlight in the away end? Oh I lost my St George's flag that day too.
fuckin awesome video, we shoudl do it at reebok run on pitch!! it would be awesome singin n think of it on motd, we would be known as 1 of best fans out
I dont think we'll ever see scenes like that again. The trouble is we've been spoilt now with our own success. Back then we hadn't really sampled it, so it was so exciting for us.
It would be brilliant, but I think that we would have to get an entire stand to rush the gates or the police and stewards would easily quash it, then we'd get threats like parts of the ground closed etc etc. Its a boring world we live in now as a football fan. And an expensive one. £36 I just forked out for a United away ticket. £36! Robbing manc gits.
i bet it will happen again but towards the end of the reebok but burnden park was amazing wish we wer still ther today did u know that i you touched 1 blade of the "grass" at the reebok you have to pay quite a bit more than £100
ahhh how i loved burden park, where else cud u run up 2 da pitch n b hugged by lofty !! :( Reebok wil nva b the same. but yay preston ! hehehe ... always helping us climb higher !! i love those bolton moments, theres something magical about them all !! n john miginly (sori if i cant spell) my god !! i loved him soo much !! :) rock on u tru boltonions!!! were all bolton til we die. (wt seperates us from the mancunian scum) ! remember wt it means 2 b a tru bolton fan x x x x
great vid - great times - great friends. im on the pitch somewhere (in wig and face paint) and its still one of my best memories. unfortunately it isnt the same anymore - still have a season ticket today but burnden was always magical
You're the one singing Super John McGinlay with navy blue all over your face? F**ing legend mate, RIP Burnden and all those days. Only went a handful of times but made it's last night out against Charlton =D
Vintage! Absolute quality, was only 6 at the time and wish I was there. We may be in the Premiership and have been to Europe, but never again will we see days like this... not at ASDA Burnden anyway! Top vid
