This song is just awesome. I wish more people in our country played baseball like people in USA do... I love playing baseball even thoutgh I'm a girl. That song really touched me...
i wish my dad played baseball with me, but that would never happen cuz hes really mean and says that he hates baseball for no reason, it really hurts my feelings :(
@Bronxyankees1998 Maybe you can get your Dad to listen to this song... maybe it will soften his hatred for baseball and help him realize that his relationship with you is more important. Thanks for your nice comments about the song.
Sir, I just want to tell you how much this song meant to me after hearing me. I am a 17yr old from NC that has played baseball since I was 6yrs old. I was playing high school varsity as a freshman and being scouted when I suffered a career ending shoulder injury. This song brought me to tears and made me realize how much baseball is truly a part of my soul. So I thank you sir :)
@Beraken1 Thank you for your kind remarks about my song. No doubt, there have been a lot of people brought to tears as they listened to the song - so you are not alone!
I'm very sorry to hear that you have had a career ending injury to your shoulder. There is nothing worse than being unable to play a sport because of injury. Hopefully the injury won't prevent you from playing other sports - at least golf!
Hey kiddo I think you could become another Jim Morris. I'm sure you've heard of him. If you haven't watch the movie The Rookie. It's his story. He didn't break in the majors until 35 years old. What an amazing thing! You can always keep baseball alive in you by coaching, working in the stadium as an usher and have you thought of announcing it? That's what I'm going to do because girls can't play baseball and I love it with all my heart, sould and being! Good luck in all you do:)
This song should be in the BASEBALL HALL OF FAME! Especially with the team specific songs derived from it! Honestly, I have never heard this original version until today! Thank you ESPN radio in Chicago for mentioning this!
If Center field can get in, then this song is a GRAND SLAM!
THANK YOU!!
ps This song is getting me emotional thinking of playing baseball with my FATHER! R.I.P.
@montel111 Thank you very much for the positive comments about my song! I'm glad you like it and it was able to bring back some good memories of you playing baseball with your father.
Did the song actually get mentioned on ESPN radio today? Pretty cool if true. ;-)
My son just turned 10 and after 6 years of playing ball he has developed a very good arm. 5, 6, 7 of June his first team ever to win anything, won his house tourney. They played and beat every team, including beating the top team twice to win it all. He pitched the 1st and seventh inning and shut down their biggest bats. He made me extremely proud but most of all, I saw my little boy turn into a young man in just one weekend. This game can really inspire the best in mankind. Very nice song junk
It's really neat to watch our kids grow up and mature. Every level in baseball is a new challenge for them - will they succeed or fail at the new level? Won't know until they try.

Sorry you didn't like the song. But, that's okay - I don't expect everyone to like it!
I was wondering, what levels of baseball are there in Australia? Little League? High School? College? Professional? I really don't know... Thanks!

is your kid going to the minor league?

No, he's one of the many NCAA student-athletes that will be turning pro in something other than athletics! He started his job June 1st.
