i feel bad for kids these days... when i was a kid (8 to be exact) my parents gave me a hamster for christmas. i had mac for almost 2 years and i had a blast with him. i think giving your kid a fake pet instead of the real thing is weird and also kind of sad.

i think zhu zhus are better, i used to have a real one and all it did was sit there and poo and eat. At least you dn't clear up no poo with these zhu zhu''s or have to feed them. They also have more noises! :)

I'm guessing the 4 bits in the middle of the row are the actual data bits. The "end" bits tell the hamster which direction is going and tells it to read either left or right? for data bits and visa versa for the timing bits and to reverse the bit order read

or read from an alternate table of 4 bit words+actions.

Notice the bumps mid track. It's a code that the hamster "reads" when running over it to tell it to perform a certain? sounds/actions. Check under the hamster, there? should be a pair of microswitches or optical sensors

Anyway, looks like one row (with all 6 bumps) is the "pilot" code (for presence/bit timing" and the other row is the actual code.

However, both Toys "R" Us and eToys online are Out of Stock on all Zhu Zhu pets and accessories until approximately January 7th.
