Thank you Esther! I really like your style of teaching. I have learned a lot that I will incorporate into my own yoga classes. I appreciate your efforts.
I use this even when I don't have time for sun salutations, and it helps to warm me up for the day as well. I'm having a hard time pulling my right or left leg up from down dog to in between my arms in forward bend. This is the transition point from floor poses to standing poses. A birth injury causes my hips to be very tight with low range of motion. What can I do to ease that transition? Can I walk my legs together from down dog to forward bend?
@ruthieraccoon You can absolutely. Another way is to step one leg forward as much as possible. Place the back knee on the floor and than with your hand help the front foot further forward between your hands. Hope this helps!
what can you do if you can't sit criss cross? I know who can't sit criss cross! But I can't! It would really help if i could find an alternate way to sit or how to teach my body to sit like that. thanks.

Hi Esther, I am a patient of multiple sclerosis. I like your videos,,,very clear. Is there any yoga exercises that would benefit a multiple sclerosis sufferer? Thanks.
when i do the d.f.d. i feel it more in my calfs than anywhere else, im trying to focus from my lower back to my finger tips but i feel the most stretching in my my calfs....i wanna feel it in my back though.
Esther, thanks so much for your simple instructional for beginners & this warm up. Rarely am I so inclined to leave a comment on a video, but these have really helped me. My rheumatologists & pain management doctors have been pushing me to do yoga for pain relief of my fibromyalgia, but, to be honest, I've always pictured yoga ending terribly: me, stuck on my back, arms & legs flailing like a flipped over turtle, lol. Anyway, after giving this and your beginner series a few tries at home, I'm f
Esther thanks so much to share your yoga knowledge with us I am a beginner and I've started your classes and I fell great!! greetings from Vancouver British Columbia Canada
Dear Esther.....I too am a yoga teacher and think your videos very good... always full of good advice and so encouraging....These short youtube posts are excellent for promoting a home practice for students... Namaste ........
I want to thank you because all this time I've been trying to find something that was simple and easy to follow. I was doing the sun salutation wrong and now have found the perfect flow to my morning routine. Thank you so very much and keep up the great work.
aMaZInG! thank you very much, i am an engineering grad student and always have back and neck trouble, i've been doing just this sequence for only one week, and I feel a lot better! :)
You should ALWAYS stretch you spine first (with the Mountain pose) , before bending it and leave the swiveling around for the end, so as to avoid any injuries.
This is great and also great of you to provide this service for free. I have had back problems all my life and you have helped me more then you'd ever imagine! Pain is decreased and my life has increased, so thank you so much
