hi jason hear cool car my dad has a 66 caprice check the plug for spark by pulling the spark plug and puting it on the exhaust manifold and put the plug wire on the plug and turn the moter over have some one look to see spark if no spark pull the dis cap and check the points the little thing that opens and closes it shoud skark when the engen turn check

if a little wire goes from the dis to the + side of coil or the coil might be bad thare is a little fusy wire that neads to by conected to the coil and for the carb it is a quadrajet 4 barrel the needle and seat are might be stuck and the accelerator pump is dry and junk the pump is under the rod that moves up and down on the top of the carb I hop this helps I will look for next vids over

kind of looks like mine... mine is a 66 with a 386 engine. man you in for a lot of work i just stripped mine out i bougt 10 gallons of paint remouver and is to bare metal ill put some videos about it later
