@bamsb I'll answer that. KMSP used to be Northwest's main base of operations, the airline's biggest hub. Once Delta merged with Northwest and took it over, KMSP became a major Delta Hub. at least 90% of the activity at MSP is Delta.

@jakobnabialek thats not smoke, its the exhaust, i.e the fuel burning, take-off uses a lot of fuel, a take-off is like a person who hasnt ran in a year doing a sprint, they use up a lot of their energy

Hello Cessna,

I have a question, 'cause yesterday I was at Schiphol Intl. Airport at the spotters place where you can see (in this case) the taking offs at the Polderbaan. There where a few little planes and then there was an Boeing 747, and he taked off very early, right in front of us! (even earlier than the Fokker :))

Is that just for the show or are the other planes just using the long runway?

@cruxader27 I use a monopod to support the camera. The little blurry spots in the video is caused by the image stabilization software that I use to help "clean up" the video movement in editing.
