  • I saw these dudes in Dallas with Silverchair when I was 14 yrs old. 1995 was a bitchin time in my life. I bought Maquee at the show, I loved their performance so much.

  • thank you so much for posting this!

  • haven't heard this in about 15 yrs and its still great

  • One of the best songs from the 90s. I was at this concert, front row. Ufest 95, the first year they did Ufest. Korn headlined, was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.

The reason there is so much crap on the stage is when Smile first came on, Michael Rosas told the crowd to throw everything they had on the stage. It was like a tidal wave.

Also, Rosas' leg was injured during this concert (pant leg up) because he slid across the stage to impress Jonathan Davis of Korn before the show. LOL

  • I'm pretty sure I saw these guys open for the Toadies at the Roseland in the 90's.

  • I just bought the album today!!! I'm so goddamn happy! I LOVE this album! Some bitch stole it from me in 2000 and I've never been able to find it anywhere until now. There are so many memories associated with this record that I feel like I got a piece of my life back.

on the right, at the bottom of the page is this video and another. XOXO arnson!!

  • This dude right here "arnson" has the Original video to this song. They're playing in front of some kind of sunburst background and look about 12 or 13 years old! Was in here for a long time but I guess he pulled it. There was a studio version of it with a Pamela Andersen tribute as the video, but that's been pulled as well. I have "Maquee" on CD.

  • @thatguyfromImpanema correction, it was YouTube who pulled it for copyright violation

  • holy friggin shit, i haven't heard this song in over 10 years!!! I actually ahd their shirt....it had a picture of a cooked egg on the back, it was from the show in palo alto, sponsored by KSJO when they were still around....good shit

  • i really need to find the LP version! can anyone help?

  • cool...thanks for uploading..Smile stuff is hard to find!!

  • @nady22 right on! follow Smile at Facebook dot com/smileisdead

  • I bought this album (Maquee) maybe 8 years ago, but I was sad to see it for $1 in the clearance section of Half Price Books.

  • clever radio song.. love the rare 7inch version too

  • Honestly, I don't really miss that period of time. The music was great, but 1995-96 was the pinnacle of concert douche-baggery. Always so much fun to go to shows and see people throwing trash at awesome bands, starting mosh pits at totally inappropriate times, and lets not forget the ever present threat of getting a Dr. Marten to the face from some fucking crowd surfer.

  • this song sounded fucking heavy.

  • Smile-Maquee I think thats the name of the album. It kicked ass. cllfp I think its out of print but Im going to search!

  • can you find this album in the US i remember when i heard this song in the nineties in France the album was impossible to find....

  • ebay has them

  • Where can I find the video from the song?

    Thanx in advance!

  • Hell yeah, I remember this day like the back of my hand! See all the cups and bottles on the stage? I started this shit. This was in 95 at Desert Sky Pavilion. The Mosh was off the hook. Ugly kid Joe, Korn, Snot, all them guys played there. Had to be the best Ufest ever!!!

  • AAF is still the best, no question.

  • jesus, i love this song!

  • Wow, everybody... all who remember this song and those of its time remember when we had good 'noise'. The newer radio pop (posing as today's "real rock") just seems whiny. Back when I lived in the Northeast, I could hear stuff like this on WAAF in Boston. Those were the days.

  • I feel bad for kids today, all us 30 ish people had the best shit to listen to when we were in high school. Now it's all BS garbage

  • great song, thanks for posting!

  • My favorite song of all time! I never get tired of this song...point blank!

  • These Guys Need To Come Back..This A Cool Ass Song!! Long Live Rock n Roll \,,/ Giggler \,,/

  • Damn Arnson the music video was removed by youtube? Oh well this is a good video too. This song reminds my of being a teenager again. I turn 30 in July. Where the fuck did time go????

  • Awesome man! I'm so glad you posted this video. This really takes me back. I was right in front for this concert. Great song! You guys rock!

  • love this song

  • great song. man, i miss these guys! it took me years to hunt down the name of the band again. the post is much appreciated. we need more bands like them now.

  • thanks!
