  • I love ER but I hated this episode, not because Susan left a broken harted Mark but because the season was so thick into their budding romance they were supposed to hook up that year but with Sherry wanting out of her contract these two episodes were altered Susan who was supposed to be over the loss of her niece suddenly has a relapse and decides to move to AZ. OK now I get that she could have moved because the only thing keeping her in Chicago was Mark and the fear of rejection could have

  • @trans8010 been a deciding factor that or Marks cowardess was to her a sign of friend zone only, so leaving was the best thing. After Mark finally pours his heart out and says the words she's wanted to hear for 3 years she just says I love you too but sorry lil suzie awaits. No way I'm sorry unless someone here has a better explanation that didn't completely ruin her integrity I'm listing this episode in my top 5 worst.

  • @trans8010 this only happened because sherry left the show

  • @lopido UM I know I already mentioned this!

  • Awesome scene. When ER was still a great show. I wish I could tell a co-worker that I love her, but were both married, and it would make things very awkward.

  • @steveskin1; lol, there was a girl at my work I liked a lot but I did not have the guts to tell her=D

  • @CountygeneralER, If both of you are single go for it! Life is too short for maybes and what ifs.

  • Sherry Stringfield should have got an Emmy Award for this episode, she was outstanding. Great character, exceptional final moments!!!

  • awww, i looovvee this scene. best scene :)

    mark&susan all the way (Y)

  • best.

    scene.

    ever.

  • Never thought of this before but that is their only kiss

  • thats horrible, she didnt like him cuz he was a geek.

that was cool when he told the young dr he had prostate cancer and got fired while they played basketball.

How could they fire that guy from the show? He was like the lead doctor or something. all the other male doctors were douchebags.

  • @mongoose100989 Dude WTF are you talking about? If it's about ER you are wrong but if it's about something else entirely I apologize. Susan and Mark did love each other but were afraid to tell each other due to their strong friendship and rejection. When Mark finally did tell Susan on the train even though she reciprocated those feelings back she had already left Chicago. The actor Anthony Edwards was not fired. He left the show voluntarily to be with his family.
