This album is a must have! Their third release is as beautiful as the first two LPs. Twenty three years since the last release and this gem was worth the wait!
@drproctor13 Yes! A copy of the video was posted in January: if you search for "Nice Girls" it will bring up the link. (YouTube won't let me post the link in this comment.) Enjoy!
Such a great sound, layered and com-lex restraint, amazing! I remember driving in connecticut in the 80's to UConn when iheard Nice Grils and had to stop driving to listen. bought Eye to Eye, then Shakespeare and feared you guy's were no more. I now own Clean Slate, bravo, you made me very happy. Thank you.
Wow. I watch this video, and - for one brief moment - I'm truly grateful to be alive. It's been well over 20 years, but "Shakespeare Stole My Baby" is, was, and always will be one of my Desert-Island-Discs. So to hear those sounds, those harmonies, those arrangements, all refined and re-invented into adulthood without losing an ounce of moxie. Well, I'm moved, truly moved. Here is one long-time fan who is sincerely thankful that you are making your unique brand of soul-lifting music again.
Excellent. The musicianship is just as tight as on your first album, and Deborah's vocals are amazing. So clean and smooth, with the most unique enunciation around. And those harmonies in the chorus... B section? Well, whatever it is, those harmonies are great! I'll be picking up the CD today. Nice to see you two are still out there doing it at this level.

I am so glad to have found a video by this group. Is there a video for Nice Girls anywhere on youtube? I have had no luck.

@drproctor13 one was recently posted...it is extremely rare and unfortunately the audio quality has degraded but the video is intact.
