  • Keep your chin up. I have been disappointed many times. In fact, I've only found one thing that I consider valueble. A 1953 silver dimes.

  • nice find !

  • Hay, thats my lucky penny. O'well you can keep it. Keep lookin.

  • hey im stuck!!! i want to buy a metal detector soon.maybe a mine lab x Terra or a garret ace 250. and my friend keeps stuffing me up. his saying all battery operated detectors are shit and cant find anything deep. is this true? because i need to prove him wrong. ohh and happy detecting hopefully ill be detecting soon.

  • @stip27 Your friend is very ignorant. Pl;ease go to treasurenet. com and click on forum to see all the finds and ratings of all metal detectors. Good luck and happy hunting

  • @stip27, you need to realize what you are focusing on - gold, coins, artefacts or everything. Are you beach hunting more. Minelab make the best gold detector on the market but it is really expensive. Both Minelab and Garrett make good coin hunting detectors so then it becomes the amount of money you have to spend. Look at both websites and choose what you want for yourself. Do some research mate.

  • @aleemiles hey aleemiles thanks for the help. i plan on doing a bit of everything. but mainly coins. i was thinking of getting the xterra 305, ill have to wait and see. i was just wondering do ever really find stuff just going around to parks?

  • @stip27, the xterra will be fine. When you do parks you must be as low key as you can. Do not take a shovel have a trowel or big flat head screwdriver. Take out the dirt and grass in one lump that you can place back into the ground and in a few days nobody will realize you dug up a coin. Parks are good, but do your research and find places where people were 50 years or more ago. All the best.

  • @aleemiles thanks and happy detecting

  • you could always make a mud pie lol

  • what a waste of water

  • curb stomp it, thats how your gunna do it

  • I have a ace 250 detector too there great check out my vids i founf an AD 227 roman silver coin

  • @kindestsi, nice find I saw your vid on it. My best finds are an 1878 penny and a gold nugget shaped like a duck. The gold is probably an ounce, but set on quartz. The penny I found by accident. I was walking back to the car and had left my detector on and I walked over the target and the beep happened. I was 20 feet from the car when I found that penny. Walked for 4 hours and the stinker was 20 feet from the car. It was a good end to the day.

  • Whats the deepest you have ever dug a coin with the Ace 250?

  • 9-10 inches

  • Thats excellent depth for a machine in that price range. Good luck in your coin hunting.

  • and also sometimes you find absalutly fanstastic stuff and some times you get tabs, nails, modern coins but im sure if you thought im gonna leave it its only a penny.then ist a gold coin you will regret it.

  • im going to get an ace 250 with maybe a bigger search coil.

  • My ACE250 will be here on Tues. I can't wait! Thanx for the upload. They can't all be gold, lol.
