There weren't only 5 other teams smartass. Do your research. There were more teams before the expansion in 1970. From 1919 to 1967 several teams were added to the NHL up until 1967 when it was decided that the League should be broken down to it's fundamentals, the original six. It was three years later that the bigger expansion came up.
