  • The jockey was flying

  • "TAG, BITCH!!!" >8D

    Her last words...

  • Owww that had to hurt

  • I dont exactly like the horse racing sport in general because of the many fatalities to horses and people alike. But those saying "that jockey pissed me off" he splintered his ankle. So it wasnt his fault he couldnt help.

  • @barrelracingqueen thats why jump a jump in the middle, horses see to the front as we see to the side. She probaly couldnt see that onw horse

  • wow. freak accident totally! Usually a horse would not naturally run into something in front of them...how can anyone say horses cant see in front of them...horses jump over thing right in front of them and in order to do that they have to calculate before they jump how high/wide bla bla bla. Looks like they both got the wind knocked out of them. Or did they die?

  • @barrelracingqueen They can't - the eyes are on the sides of their head. Considering your username has "barrel racing" in it, you should know this. But they cannot see DIRECTLY in front of them, or directly in back. I too find it odd that the horse did not see the other horse - I believe the "blind spot" that they have is fairly small but I suppose it can vary.

  • @barrelracingqueen A horse can't see directly below its head. A horse must lower its head to see faraway objects. A horse must raise its head to see close objects. If an object is closer than 4 feet, the horse can't see it with its binocular vision.

  • @barrelracingqueen There are a few reasons this horse may have collided with the other, but it was probably because he saw her too late, especially as he seemed slightly overwhelmed or whatever. It's not really funny to say something as nonchalant as 'Looks like they both got the wind knocked out of them. Or did they die?'. It just seems an unfair comment to me, as one of the horses had to be put down, which is not in anyway funny. Not sure if you intended it in this way but it seemed like this.

  • what a useless fucking jockey. people say that standardbred drivers are assholes, but at least when something happens to their horse, they attend to them, or if their horse is loose, they attend to the nearest horse or person that needs help. this jockey pisses me off

  • @MyRedBoys1 the jockey had a broken foot according to the reporter

  • "Want to see more videos like this one? Head over..."

    NO ! NOT ONE !

Why would anyone want to watch animals

die because of Worthless Humans like YOU !

  • The Jockey suffered a broken foot. He also had to be "put down" by the Veteranarians....

  • Poor things. What a horrible accident =/

  • Wow why would some riders keep going

  • @horselovernotfern it was probably 1 or 2 horses in the beginning of the race and the ones in front probably didnt know it happened. When your going at that speed you cant here too much and all your trying to do is win the race. Very seldom the entire race stops if there are riders still going. Its hard to stop a race horse.

  • i find it so thoughtful how 2 riders actually got off , and ran over to help.. whilst the others kept going! thoughts are with everyone involved in this accident!!

  • @XJessicaX97 The riders who helped would be professional outriders on older horses, usually quarter horses, who are very well trained and dependable. The outriders catch run away and loose horses and are stationed all around the track. Riders on young thoroughbred racehorses wouldn't dare get off, shouldn't get off. They'd be no help, trying to hold on to their grained up, hot headed mounts by the reins on the ground. Most racehorses don't know much or have great manners.

  • @londerosa Oright oright. I didn't ask for a massive story

  • @XJessicaX97 So sorry, I'm from a different generation, I can see. Perhaps this will suit you better and be less taxing. Run Baby Horse, run! Oh no! Baby Horse falls down. Help Old Horse, help! Old Horse comes quick. Old Horse says, "I am calling the doctor. All the baby horses must go home." The baby horses do not know how to help. The baby horses only know how to run fast. The baby horses walk on by. Run, doctor, run!

  • @londerosa I know what you meant, I'm not some bloody idiot from another planet.

  • @londerosa HeeHee... I am shocked at your insensitivity. They should have called a medivac helicopter and taken it to the Horsepital. I cannot figure it out: 7 billion humans and they did not 'put down' the Jockey? Seems the Jockey should have been "put down" and the Horse cared for at the Horsepital. BTW ladies....notice I am a Horse?? I discipline BANK horses and they all work at the same place, ha ha

  • Oh shit that was awfull :'(

  • I don't like the description, the horse isn't going nuts, it is just running like it was taught to do. Probably because if they don't run fast enough, the jockeys whip them harder, the horse was just doing what it was taught, and it was the one who suffered

  • horse racing = animal cruelty . like this muhhfugga if you agree .

  • @MUSTACHE7112 IT IS NOT ANIMAL CRUELTY

  • @MUSTACHE7112 And no one likes your comment because its not true. BURN.

  • no one helped the horses cuz the one on the ground looked dead

  • Nether of these horses are at fault- praying for the one whos still alive.

  • what bollocks, so they would rather put the horse down just cause it had a fractered pelvis? but that other horse looked crazed

  • @MYBIGKINDHEART there workers not pets sadly they are seen only in what they can earn the owners back, they wouldn't see the point in all the costs to make it better just to sell it for pennies as a companion horse.

  • horses are stupid animals LOL

  • @TheDorapapi321 smarter than you

  • Poor horses!:( But how could the first horse get in?

  • @zezBunny9 it's jockey fell off while riding it

  • Oh my god. :( Talk about a freak accident..

  • oh my gosh. that made me cry... poor horses...

  • a horse can't see straight ahead. they can only see to the side of them so it was a freak accident

  • @VickiieenFreezy

actually a horse has two visions. forward and side. it just takes a bit of time to switch between the visions. Doctor Rap was possibly looking the sides at the crowd or something and possibly saw Raspberry Miss in the corner of his eye and tried to switch between his visions but it was too late.

  • Comment removed

  • @VickiieenFreezy It he can't see straight why goes so fast? Why is so hurry? It's a stupid horse.

  • @arianzo Your a stupid horse. For your information he was trained to run as fast as he can, jockey, or no jocky. Sometimes they don't even train them to turn right. You obvisly know nothing about horses and if you have sutch a prolblem with them, FUCK OFF BITCH!

  • @arianzo Race horses are trained to go fast, and most horses actually LOVE galloping (though i personally dislike racing as a sport). It's not a stupid horse, it cant see directly infront of it, it enjoys galloping, its not a 'stupid horse', it didnt exactly do it on purpose!! Retard.

  • Oh! The poor horse is saying get off me you moron! And watch where you're going!

  • how does that horse not run AROUND the other horse + rider?

    ...

  • @bread315 horses have a blind spot right in front of them, mabye she didnt see the horse infront?

  • @bread315

cause horses are stupid animals LOL

  • @TheDorapapi321 you are stupid horse are very smart animals

  • @makala291

of course they'll run over you and kill you

  • @TheDorapapi321 what are you saying? I have been riding for most of my life i know horses can kill you you said horses are stupid ther are very smart animals wtf are you going on about

  • @TheDorapapi321 No... they're not...

  • @bread315

look at this video: Horse die Gored by Bull in guatemala strong images bull fighting

    and you'll understand

hahaha he turns around wondering wheres the bull...bang got ya hahaahah

bull = sharp and slick horse = dumb and dumber

  • @TheDorapapi321 a bull..... slick (or sleek whatever)? really? if a horse was truely as "retarded" as you say then how come your dumbass bulls are in spain being killed slowly with sowrds? Wheres all the articles of a "great bull accmploshes the immpossible?" no where since with your "bull ='s and horse='s" argument is actually vise versa

  • whoa..that horse would totally be a wrestler!

  • awwww :'( poor horses :'{ feeel srry or the horse that got hit

  • Horses are prey animals, and they can flip out about near anything.

  • That is CRAZY

  • Any number of things could have set him off. This is just the danger that comes with any large animal. And you will never know what made him run. I don't blame anyone in this situation.

  • Ouch....This is why horse racing isn't for faint hearted people, nor faint hearted horses. Very sad.

  • why was doctor rap loose in the first place!!where was his jockey!!

  • @Monsterassault100 most likely bucked the rider off and then got loose.

  • No-one gives a fuck about the jockey. they know what they get into. i feel sorry for the fucking horse.

  • Horses have a blind spot, so they can't see right infront of them. So running at that speed "blind" was why she ran straight into that other horse, it was to late by the time she saw that they other horse was there :/ not really the horses fault.

  • @MusicMotives thats totally the horses fault.

  • @aaahshs it not the horses fought something or some one spoked her

  • @aaahshs no it is not. horses get spooked really easily do you even ride if you do you should know that you stupid bumb cunt fuck of you shit

  • @makala291 oh man, English language just got raped >,<

  • Comment removed

  • @tomacsrubin I don't think Doctor Rap actually saw Raspberry Miss until it was too late. Horses have a blind spot immediately in front of their nose, and it appears that Raspberry Miss was in Doctor Rap's blind spot. To add to that, there were horses on either side of where Doctor Rap was running, which would distract him. It appears that Doctor Rap only just notices Raspberry Miss at the 0:12 second (you can see his ears prick forward and him "applying the brakes"). Just a freak accident.

  • @squirttle92 This is what I think happened too. You can see at 0:10 he was running then all of a sudden he seemed to realize another horse was in front of him but couldn't quite stop on time.

  • @squirttle92 might i add, when horses panic, they are know to run blindly ^^"

  • *GASP*

  • which one died?

  • It's so sad she was only 2 years old and she was put down =( they start racing too young

  • @Shazzy172 Raspberry Miss's injuries were not from racing. She was run into by another horse. Any horse could be severely injured in that kinda accident, it just depends were and how hard you are hit.

  • that's what racing makes out of horses. Any normal horse, even one running at full speed would never crash into abother one as long as there's another way to go...

  • @iare07 I have on video my horse crashing into my other horse, and there were plenty of other ways to go.

  • That one horse must have REALLY hated the other one.

  • Poor mare, that really is unfortunate for her :( I hope the other horse at least came out okay.

  • Oh its look bad!

But cute the Peolpe trying to help :)

  • did both of them die?

  • @Donutboy and any other dumb deaf fucker out there Perhaps you didn't hear Fuckin Goddam American Horseracing is so full of drugs the poor beasts don't know which way is up or down

  • @dullnuts You don't know what you are talking about. Like, at all!!!!! They are all tested before and after every race. They have been since before Ruffian.

  • Did both horses die?

  • Comment removed

  • Goddamn American horseracing is so full of drugs the poor beasts don't know which way is up or down

  • @dullnuts you dont know anytthing so yeah

  • @dullnuts Buddy, the industry is not full of drugs. Every horse that wins a race MUST take a drug test

  • she died from shock before the vets could even give her the injection....

  • Warum ist denn das Pferd gegen das andere gelaufen? Hat es das nicht gesehen oder ist das andere in den Weg gelaufen? ._.

  • Please read it with microsofttranslator (German - English): DIE ARMEN PFERDE !!!!!. So fertig gemacht das sie nach einem Sturz nicht mehr aufstehen wie schrecklich !!!. Ich könnte heulen !!!

  • clear the track, yes in 15 seconds a "bell" will sound, and magically the track clears. I cant believe how stupid these comments are. Im sure that 99% of these idiots are WalMart shoppers.

  • @bigtimcny no offense... but i shop at walmart? i am sorry i am poor?

  • @kashiimk I shop at walmart and make over 100,000 a year. Yay Walmart!!!!

  • how did the colt get loose? and if anyone knows, why do they start racing horses so young? fractures and falls would be less frequent if they let them mature a little more

  • What the hell? Where was the bell to clear the track? Usually there's an alert that a horse is loose to clear the track. Did they not hear it? That was a sad and unfortunate accident, but it was partly the tracks fault for not clearing the track with a horse barreling out of control and no rider.

I feel bad for the horse involved, though. :(

  • @SaraNightfire1 I've been around track-work for 20 years. I've never heard of a bell to clear the track. It's a pretty common occurrence to see a "unaccompanied" horse. usually they are easy enough to catch. But sometimes theur ForF instinct is so strong they don't have any consideration for anything that's in their way.

  • poor Raspberry miss was just standing there and got it and had to be put down so sad

  • i hope the bettors got refunds on the dead horse

  • @jamsid33 Why Would You Say SOmthing Like That?

  • well tragically these accidents aren't that rare, it's just that many aren't publicized. Heart wrenching but sadly, especially in this case, unavoidable unless you never put a horse onto the track. I've worked many years with racehorses and you never really become numb to it....

  • YES a freak accident but "man" should be ashamed.

  • I love it how the jockey just sits there in horror

  • @jfurry616 And you would prolly do the same too

  • such a freak accident its sad but they happen no matter how careful you are!

  • oh god! terrible things happen when the horses get loose :(

  • @Sami13p you know what? horses are great animals!! i let my horse run around my yard... LOOSE. no one has got hurt by my horse. race horses arnt behaved TOO well, but really... HORSES ROCK!!

  • @iloveCASH100

Racehorses are hot blooded, they are thoroughbreds. Some aren't behaved as well as others. It happens in all horses..ever rode an arabian before? My grandparents had a racehorse and he is fantastic around little kids. He was even great while he was racing. Not all thoroughbreds are this way.

  • @BLiSSFULxFiLLY i know im just saying

  • Aww. Which one? The one that charged and smushed the one underneath? Or the one that got charged INTO and was smushed beneath?

  • and the filly probably wasnt even aware of a horse coming up behind her until it was too late...i remember this accident,it was awful

  • @FanOBarbaro When did this happen? Was it a long time ago?

  • oooooh poor thing

  • It`s a good thing that the horse underneath didn`t move too much, otherwise the incident could`ve been worse...

  • She couldn't move because her pelvis was fractured, and she was probably knocked out cold!

  • Rasberry Miss was the horse on top squirming, she had the broken pelvis. Lucky, the horse underneath, had a broken foot and came out ok.

It`s also pretty obviouse that neither are nocked out.

  • @Beatlegirl4eva Um... no. This video is pretty clear. The JOCKEY had a broken foot. The horse on top is Doctor Rap, and Raspberry Miss is the horse that was standing still. Doctor Rap had bruising and nerve injury, which is why he was still squirming. The horse he collided with, Raspberry Miss, was put to sleep.

  • @DeepRedBlue Names confuse me. Point being, the horse underneath survived and the horse on top didn`t.

  • thats sick.

    where did it happen?

  • Churchill Downs

  • Im personaly not THAT fond of horse racing. But if you all think about it if we get rid of horse racing because we are risking horse's lives then we should get rid of every other dangerous sport, football, gymnastics, and even just plain old horseback riding because we are endangering our lives.

  • i agree

  • i also agree. if i were to die horseback riding i would die doing what i loved. i know theres a risk, but i as well as many other people love the sport enough to take that risk

  • I don't see how the horses died ( thank god) >.> just a little bruised up but overall fine. Ae you sure they died?

  • Raspberry Miss was euthanized. I remember when this happened. It was very sad.

  • My god you are stupid.

  • The one that hit hit the filly is alive, but the filly had multiple fractures to her pelvis. Was put down a couple hours later. The colt is back in training.

  • Ya, I remember reading about it.

You may not see an injury externally, but bones can still be broken, and recovery from broken bones is VERY difficult for horses...

  • okay if these horses are put to danger by even standing on the track then why have horse racing if you love so much how to do like risking their lives you know

  • it waznt standin it waz joggin replay it n u cld see it joggin!!!

  • It was a freak accident, anything standing anywhere near a horse is in potential danger. If all danger was removed, then there`d be nothing to do, even getting on the internet would be eliminated, as well as cars, TV, chairs, tables, animals, and everyone would be completely confined in a padded room.

  • @Beatlegirl4eva you might choke on dust!!! Oh no!

  • @getmeaponynow Oh gosh! It`s everywhere!!!! *drowns in a pool of dust*

  • @Beatlegirl4eva That's completely besides the point of indangerment. It would have been a freak accident if horse racing was eliminated all nogether.

  • the horse was a colt, and colts are more high strung then fillys. this horse was also a thoroughbred, which is one of the most high strung breeds in the world. something probably scared him, and he took off. with thier fight or flight instinct, if a horse is scared they dont notice much else. this horse probably didnt even see the filly standing there until it was to late

  • OMG! Thats terrible
