250 billion stars! The impeccable phrasing. Perfect ear for melody. Technique out the ying-yang, but always in service of the tune itself. Never really plays "licks" except to connect ideas or end a phrase. Good quality vid too. Like that one a lot.

Reread my post. Where does it state that I said Jeff Beck sucks? I said the aforementioned 3 are better than him. Thats what I said. It's true. I bet Beck would even agree himself. Its not the players but fanboys like you who bash other guitarists (the speed player bashing) to praise another. I simply used non speed players as an example to counter that ridiculous claim that you arent good if you can play technicically fast.

The thing is that with alot of fast players is that they don't have the soul of these other guitar players. Take buckethead for example, honestly one of the best "technical" players out right now, but he doesn't have the same soul as johnny winter.
