By removing those refining features you are killing the expression of her face. You also supress the skin texture by using (1) a mouse and (2) patch tool That is NOT professional retouching

Very instructive tutorial, you should check out Portrait Professional 9, it is a much easier way to retouch photos and its also faster!!!

My patch tool works the other way. I have to select the correct area and then put it on the wrinkle. How can I change it to the other way?

@LoveOceanForever You can switch that in the tool options bar at the top. If you reset the tool it should do it automatically.
