  • Sp stands for SUPER PEOPLE Like this woman.

  • Bill Maher became an SP on my birthday? Well butter my ass and call me a biscuit! Yeaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!

  • I loved that movie !! I just saw it (religulous) ! Obviously it's Tory's SP declare, but Bill Maher is definitely considered an SP by the church. I think he did some stand up and said something about scientology being way out , and then goes " are there any scientologists here tonight? (no response) Well anyways, I'm sorry ... that your religion is a joke" But maybe it's not BM... I might be mixing up acts and/or performers. Anyway BM rules and so does Tory. The SP club is phat.

  • The real suppressive is $cientology, the infamous cult of money.

  • It's Religulous, you bimbo!!!!!

  • What crimes have you commited Bill Maher? what are you trying to hide tory? lol!!

  • BILL MAHER FOR PRESIDENT!

  • To ChymeraxeSOH: Where do you think the Insane part comes from in the Insane/Brilliant combo?

  • BIll Maher is awesome ! :)

  • Bill Maher is insanely brilliant. It's like Bill O'Reily and John Stewart had a child or something.

  • You had a good thing going when you started the "It's like X and Y had a child" thing.

However, you shot it down when you put Bill O'Reily.

    Shame on you.

    Also, Tory, I <3 you.

  • Bill Maher owned Scienfaggotry and its bitch ass mother. If you're a Scientologist and you're reading this; Fuck you, you worthless cunt!!!

  • I lol at how Tory's all like "You're part of a cool club =D" and the Scientologists get all srsbsns and butthurt about this.

  • Bill an sp...give me a break.

  • Not declared by Scn but an SP nonetheless. It's a badge of honor.

  • TORY ROCKS EYES WIDE OPEN!!!!

  • I just need to know... is the lady in this video being sarcastic about Bill Maher being an "SP" or is she truly affiliated with Scientology in some way?

I didn't have the chance to see Religulous yet but will be buying it this week when it arrives on DVD. I've heard nothing but great things about it so far though.

  • The woman in this video, Tory Magoo, is thoroughly against scientology.

  • You obviously have NOT watched any of my videos, or you'd know the answer to 'is she truly affiliated with Scientology".

SP is an honor....and he's now proudly a member.

You obviously are not. So sorry....keep watching :)

    Tory/Magoo

  • Tory. Thanks for all your hard work. Thank you :)

  • Does he question it or does he hate it?

  • Do you have ANY idea who Bill Maher is?!? He questions all organized religion, mainstream or fringe.

  • i cant watch this video

hi anyone want to chat h1

  • Religulous is AWESOME!

Bill Maher kicks seventeen separate kinds of ass.

    You're amazing Tory!

  • Bill Maher is an "ass kicker" now

    lol.....thats funny

  • u r the sp

  • David Miscavige is an SP.

(Short Person. Or maybe 'Strange Poodle'.)

  • Scientologist Pederast?

  • Sexual Predator is probably the better definition for Miscarriage.

  • Did I see some white out on that paper with Bill Maher's name written on top of it?

  • No...you see a piece of white paper with Bill's name on it: IT WAS A JOKE :)

Chill out....I just put it over my name---after seeing his movie: I know, IF they could, they would declare him an SP. Because they know he'd tear them apart, they won't, so I DID! : )

    Tory/Magoo

  • @ToryMagoo44 All the more reason he should. I believe the more offense they encounter the better especially their whole Pr. campaign approach with the celebrities. Man I wish George Carlin was still kickin! :D I believe in spiritualism & Fanaticism witch is why the religious are members of institutions. Peace.

  • Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy have said worse than that on Rifftrax.....can they be SP's too?

  • Sorry, I haven't heard what they've said, but no doubt, Scientology would declare them--if it's worse than what Bill said.

Just think: There are now more SPs than there are people "in" and active in Scientology!

    AMAZING :)

    Tory/Magoo

  • I wanna be an SP. I'm so jealous. :(

    lol ;D

  • Haha, welcome to the SP club!

  • memberofxenu: I officially declare you SP!

Go do thine work, being the special person

    that you are :)

    Tory/Magoo

  • Its a hard work to be an official SP. But I try also for a letter of SO *lol* Please Scientology, add me too! Than I can say, I have do the best for a lulzy life.

  • Exactly! Bill Maher says in the movie, "I don't know". DOUBT is not a crime, or lower condition,

as much as Scientology would like one to think so.

The only reason Hubbard was SO against DOUBT was if someone began to be curious (doubt) and look, they may see the FACTS, wake up, leave and he'd lose all the money!

Doubt is often the beginning of learning.

    My best to all :)

    Tory/Magoo

PS: IF you haven't subscribed, please DO!

  • "SP" (suppressive people), as it is used as a designation, sounds simular and congruent to the designation that the Monothesistic churches use in labeling people atheists and or pagans with respect to their fabricated ideology.

  • It's FAR worse than any you have named. IF someone is labeled an "SP", NO ONE is allowed to even talk with them, including their own family.

IF they do, they also will be declared SP. That's just for starters. The truth is many of the best of Scientology are declared SP and out. It's quite an honor, which is why I gave it to Bill Maher. :)

    Tory/Magoo

  • Awesome as always, ma'am :)

  • Bill Maher needs to give a thank you to Tory on his Politically Incorrect show for the news about the SP declare.

The funny thing he said about the $cieno segment was that people in Britain didn't know who he was and just thought he was some crazy person who believed in H-Bombs, Xenu and body thetans.

  • Go Tory

  • I don't ever watch videos of people talking to their webcams but YouTube recommended yours for me and it was a good watch. Out of all living people I think Bill Maher is on the top of my list of celebrities that I would want to smoke with if I start blazing again and ever get the chance to meet him.

Glad to hear you got out of Scientology and were able to get your life built back up.

P.S. - I thought the title was pronounced like "ridiculous."

  • Hey thanks for swinging by! Yes, you're correct--I pronounced it incorrectly: As he said, it's a combination of ridiculous and religious...hence Religulous. :) YT recommended my video? Amazing. Hope you watch more, there's lots to learn. Thanks for your comments, too! Subscribe if you'd like: It's free!

    My best to all,

    Tory/Magoo

  • DICKS EVERYWHERE

  • You know, Religulous is actually helping

Bill Maher's career, unlike Ben Stein"s

movie which has him going back to doing eye-drop

    ads. :)

  • Yay Bill!~

Thanks for my bit of sunshine this morning Tory :) Always a pleasure to stop by and find a new vid up from you!

    Rock on Anons!

  • Wow. Just wow. Um...welcome to the club Maher?

  • I don't always agree w/Bill Maher, but I respect his honesty. Thanks for the reccomendation Tory, I've been trying to find somethin funny to watch. yay for Bill!

  • Welcome Bill =D

  • Darn it, Tory, now you have me all curious, and I'm probably not going to have enough free time to gp see a film until 2009. LOL.

  • Maher rules!!

  • He's not actually declared though right? just a joke?

  • This video has given me an idea Tory. Why don't you have an annual SP 'Oscar' ceremony...Or an 'SP of the Year Award'? Or something like that.

It ticks so many boxes! If it's done in the right way it would be great publicity, it would undermine the Scions 'biggest sanction' and it might just be fun too ;) ;)

  • SP is a badge of honour, not a threat - although a threat was its intention.

  • WOW! I wanna be a SP! How can I do dat? COOL!

  • Welcome Bill thank you for your work. I am going to see this movie to find out why is movie made him a SP!

  • Where can I find his SP declaration,is it online someplace?

  • Too bad Bill messed up some of the details which will pretty much invalidate his claims. He made it sound like the sole purpose of the e-meter was to audit away thetans, and he didn't get into the fact that we all are thetans as well inside of our bodies. A pre-OT3 Scientologist can see that and simply think he's wrong about everything because they don't audit away thetans and they never audit themselves.

  • I disagree....Joe public could care less whether they're "Thetans" or "Body Thetans" and his "mistakes" will only matter to Scientologists, period.

And you're wrong, Scientologists DO audit themselves...I did it for 7 years on OT 7: It's called "Rudiments", or beginning steps

before the processes of OT 7 were run.

    Best :)

    Tory/Magoo

  • That's my whole point, that a pre-OT3 Scientologist will see that, see the inaccuracies and think that he's wrong about everything. It won't help in waking anyone up from the "Truman Show" as you say.

  • A Pre-OT 3 won't even see this movie, which was my point in declaring Bill Maher an SP! Scientology can "Disconnect" from people faster than a speeding bullet, IF there are ANY facts they don't want known.

    Tory/Magoo

  • Fuck ya go Bill! I want to see that movie so bad!

  • Revelation, or revealed religion, is defined in Webster's New World Dictionary as: "God's disclosure to man of Himself." This should read, "God's alleged disclosure to man of himself." For unless God reveals to each of us individually that a particular religion is truly His disclosure to us of Himself, then, by believing that religion, we are not taking His word for it, but we are instead putting our belief in the person or institution telling us it is so.

  • I love Bill Maher and the fact that he is bringing this out in the open. If I were famous, I would there with him. It's time for mankind to grow up and put the fairytale book away on the shelf with Jack and the Beanstalk and all the others.

I abhor all organized religion regardless of whatever good they have done, for the bullshit they preach and the hypocrasy built within.

For the lies religion teaches, they should be ridiculed until their off the face of this planet.

  • First of all moron who directed thir quote to me. I am an ex-christian and was forced to live the lie because that's what are elders, parents force upon us.

You don't know me to make any dumb comments like the one you made.

I am not an atheist and I have spent close to 50 years studying about all relgions and non religions to make my own assessment

All revealed religions were created by man for the purpose of conttoling mankind and keeping them in check.

    cont...

  • The Movie was great, saw it yesterday, I loved when the Senator footbulleted and it played the Jesus Getting slapped footage

  • Yeah, the Senator footbullet was the best part.

"There's no IQ test you need to take to be a senator" lulz

  • Just read the daily digest on A.R.S., what a shitstorm that place is! Been reading it for years, but seldom posted, as doing so is like throwing yourself into the lion`s den! Never go to movies, but this is one I`ll go to and thanks for the report. How much time was actually taken by the subject of $cientology, Tory?

  • Great work, Bill.

  • Are they going to declare Katie for leaving scientology?? :O She's quitting!

  • So welcome to the SP Club Bill.

What does that make him I wonder.

    SP #22437558?

HA Won't be anyone left on the earth to save $cilons! 'specially since you can't talk to them.

  • I didn't say he's a "Spokesman for the SPs"...I said he's now declared an SP. If you see the movie, you'll know why!

I have a great line with God, so please don't put words in my mouth that I didn't say.

    Best,

    Tory/Magoo

  • crazyed4, regarding Bill Maher being "an avowed athiest [sic] who believes nothing"...

I don't like Bill that much either, but he's not an *avowed* atheist. One of the reasons I don't like him is because of the way he talks negatively and spreads misinformation about atheists like myself.

And I'll go out on a limb here and say that he doesn't believe "nothing". What could you even mean by that??

  • I think I should expand upon my earlier comment since a few people have downrated me for using my constitutional rights. Really, all Christians I've ever encountered were the most caring, decent, altruistic, loving people I have ever met, which is more than I can say for the secular people I have encountered. These are people who don't judge you for every mistake you've ever made in life, and god knows I make way too many of them. I don't know why you hate honest, compassionate, Christians.

  • I don't hate Christians, any more than I hate Scientologists. I despise abuse...which is what I speak out against. My opinion re what this movie is about: It isn't about "Christians",

it's about some things that he's asking about.

Why do you make such a leap, without even seeing the movie?

    Go check it out...

    Tory/Magoo

  • im excited to see that movie

  • Bill got sp'd for that? I havent seen the whole film yet, but I know he said some stuff on Real Time or may have been Daily Show. I'm curious, if the person they deem an SP doesnt know they've been declared SP, what relevence is that??? That just makes me wanna go see his film, and to picket valkyrie when it comes out.

    DD

  • I doubt it'll come out in Korea. :(

  • Well......ya never know: It *might* come on DVD---and sooner than you think.

Did you see the clip about Xenu, it's on YT now.

Swing by XENU (dot) net, the link it there, on the message boards.

    My best :)

    Tory/Magoo

  • hmmm Guess Ill go down to the local scientology center and ask to become a SP so I can join the club =)

  • This movie was great. Bill was right on with this.

You don't need religion to be a good person and do the right things in life.

Bill knows what good religion has done but the tables are tilted towards the negative over the course of mankind on this planet.

Plus we all know the religion is a fairytale.

People who hate Bill Maher are usually religious because their salvation and following man made rules are being mocked.

    Stop Teaching children this crap!!!!

  • It's a good movie and has funny parts, but it got really somber towards the end. I just wish he could have showcased some of the good things that some religions have done or went into more detail about Scientology.

  • Will do Magoo!

  • If this movie targets Christianity, I am not going to watch it. I have never known any really hateful Christians that alot of people accuse them to be.

  • So it's ok with you, Oceanbornangel, as long as it doesn't target your beliefs? I think that's kinda the point. How unbelievable it is that people take these books so seriously & so literally which would be ok if they just didn't force it on us or our political system. That's the bad thing about most religions. They can't leave others alone. You don't have to belong to a religion, shout it out to the world, & try to convert people to believe in god either. Some do it peacefully & privately.

  • Really?? You never went to my church then. Most of the people there have treated my family like second class citizens. The former preacher there was the most unChristian "Christian" I've ever known. Went out of his way to treat me like dirt.

When my father died, not one word of condolence from him or his family, and they lived across the street from the funeral home!

Some of the worst people I've ever encountered have been "Christians."

  • It was an awesome movie.. My mother despised it though.. Best of luck in fighting the scilons Magoo..

  • Bill Maher is ballbag.F the biz of scientology, but Bill Maher is a open sore on the ass oh the world. Love ya Tory.

  • I just got back from Religulous, and it was GREAT! Go see it!

  • Bill Maher is an IDIOT - although if he attacks scientology - thats kind of cool

  • bill maher is a pretty cool guy.

  • "bill maher is a pretty cool guy."

eh fights xenu and dosent afraid of anything.

  • correct.

  • I dislike scientology but I dislike Bill Maher even more...

  • I've been a big fan of his for years and I've been looking forward to him tearing religion, and especially $cientology, a new asshole in this film.

  • To bad I really dislike Bill Maher and won't fund him in any way. It does seem like a funny movie.

  • Your loss.....Even if you don't like him, seeing the others in it is worth the money!

    Best,

    T

  • Interesting Tory, I'll see it as soon as it's out in Australia thanks for the tip ^_^.

  • I used Humanism as an example of a group that is not friendly toward religion, and that wasn't fair to them. I admit that.

But no where did I call you an "extremist intolerant secular humanist", as you put it. You're using a straw man argument.

Let's stay on target. Does the word "cult" imply an organization with a system that differs from accepted orthodoxy as the use of the word "particular" implies? I insist that this is the spirit of the definition. Your definition is litigiously derived.

  • wait, so did he actually get his declare, or did you just make one up for him to celebrate? either way, yay :)

  • C of S("Church" of Scientology) Never declares Celebrities "SP", as they have too many powerful "Communication lines" (People in high places who can effect things, good or bad). So even with this, they wouldn't physically declare Bill Mayer an SP, but behind the scenes...he is.

Thus I did it for them, as he is--in that SPs basically spread truth about things that are hidden by real suppressive people who want the FACTS to never been seen, until the person is roped "in". :)

    Tory/Magoo

  • Been a fan off bill maher for a long time, i was hoping he would sooner or later talk about scientology. i'm going to have to check out his new movie ASAP. thanks for the update tory!

also, you can catch bill maher on his HBO series "real time" friday nights on HBO.

  • Hey tory! just wondering why did they make him a SP? lol. I want to see that movie but not going in europe atm :(

  • "TOP SECRET" as usual (basically, *I* added his name over mine. That's all they do in Scientology, anyways, is make shit up, and kick people out that question their "authority"/BS.

If you're "in", come join the really wild side:

THE SPS! (I'd put money on it: There are now more declared SPs than there are people active in C of S). ROCK ON SPS!

    Tory/Magoo~~

  • So what happens if Tom Cruise crosses paths with Maher or Beghe in public?

  • He holds up Suri in front of him and screams "DEMONS!!!!"

  • I already thought he was an SP. And I definetly plan to see Religulous

  • To get an "SP Declare" ..just do what the "Church" of Scientology does: Make one up.

Create some supposed "Crimes" you have committed, and type them out--on legal sized paper-color: Goldenrod. That's it. End it with:

"Your ONLY Terminal is the International Justice Chief" (Which is true).

Ta da, now you're a declared SP!

    Enjoy :)

    Tory/Magoo---SP 6 ^ Cumulative Cluster

  • Tory, can you take and put paper over the name and dates on your SP declare and scan it onto a site where we can download it, print it out and add our name and date so we can frame it and hang it on the bare spot on our wall? What a badge of honor...and I`ve got a bad spot on the wall that needs covering up!

  • Not really----just make up your own. Each one is different, and there are copies of SP Declares on the Net, if you need the basic format.

Then, as I've said, just add in your own made up 'Crimes" (same as OSA does) and the final sentence is: "Your only terminal is the International Justice Chief".

Print it on legal size paper+ Goldenrod color.

    Ta da :)

    Tory/Magoo

  • I would love to see the movie, I actuly have been wanting to see it, but there is only 500 theaters in america showing it so consider yourself lucky to see it. When it comes to houston I will watch it over and over :)

Another great day for anon. :)

  • I saw the movie on friday. Theatre was almost empty (relatively). I loved it. There was actually a round of applause.

  • i know this is going to get a good laugh but i have had a long day who is Bill Maher!!

  • Type in Bill Maher in Google: That's who he is.

(He's a very funny comedian, who specializes in politics, religion, and other controversial topics)

Go see the movie: That's Bill at his best :)

    Tory/Magoo

  • ........ are you kidding me??????

    ROTFLMFAO!!!!!

I gotta see this movie, I can just see that 12 gauge pointed at their feet ready to go off!

  • he is!? YAY!! :D that makes me so happy ^^

  • Bill Maher is an ahole. Just because he attacks CO$ doesn't matter to me.

  • No he isn't. He is right. About virtually everything.

  • how do i get declared an sp?

i hate scientology as much as anyone.

  • How did you get the SP Declare? are they posted somewhere??? I would like to see some others.

  • I am proud (as is everybody) for Bill's SP declare!!

    LOL!

  • ROFL!

  • I'm seeing it next weekend. :D

  • I saw Bill's movie this weekend & LUVED LUVED LUVED IT!!! :) It was funny, but it also was done INTELLIGENTLY. Simple,straight-forward questions from Bill & MUCH respect from him to those he interviewed. I wonder if Bill has his SP Declaration posted on his refrigerator? HEHEHE! :}}}

  • Can't stand Bill Maher, but what he did is great.

  • Congratulations Bill Maher. I don't agree with you on everything about religion, but it's an honor to be in the same club as you.

Now all Maher needs is a fatwa from a crackpot Islamic cleric and he will be an elite SP.

  • Hey Tory--going this week and lookin forward to it......have a good one...peace out

  • bill maher is fucking awesome. i want to see the movie! but i'm in Japan :(

  • You're in Japan? Oh boo hoo.

  • I'm an SP too,.. only scientology doesnt know it yet!

  • LOL Religulous is awesome

  • IMHO we are witnessing the next step of human

    evolution. Not biological, intellectual.

Natural selection is quickly throwing out all of the old myths & superstitions afflicting mankind, preventing our self destruction.

    And yes, good movie. :)

  • i sincerely hope so. let's all do our best to nudge it along.

  • Anonymous flags on Ebay.

  • thank u

  • A religion is where people come together to worship something higher than themselves, a cult revolves around the worship of a 'guru' or 'leader' spouting off unorthodox doctrine.

  • Look up the word 'cult'. It's not the insult religious people think it is. It's not an insult at all, it's a broad term.

  • In France they use cult to mean worship and secte to mean a phony religion which has anti-social features, like JW and Co$. They are quite clear about this. A true religion works for the general good, distributes charity etc.

  • Thank you. Finally someone with some sense. All six dictionary entries at the top of the google findings list the definition I'm explaining isn't a bad thing. "Culte religieux" means religious practice in French and it translates to English just as well.

Kucheat's just uppity because he feels his magical friend can't defend himself from a "bad" word.

And for the record, all other religions are "false" to each religion, so they'll all call each other cults anyways.

  • Thanks for uploading Tory, I love you.

  • lol, they were dumb enough to declare him SP?

thats just gunna make it worse for them...

i wanna see religulous, but i have a feeling it wont be comming to australia! :(

  • Hope you didn't see it at the Arclight here in L.A.. It's run by a major player in Scientology.

I found out about this from working there. Actually, Tory, you can clear this up: "Qual" is a Scientology term, correct?

  • "Qual" Stands for Qualification in Scientology,

where someone goes to get things corrected. However, due to many businesses doing the W.I.S.E. Training(Scientology Management)--some terms are used in general business, even when they're not connected. Are you sure the Arclight is run by a Scientologist? I'd heard that, but then thought we decided it wasn't so, due to other training they were doing.

    Thanks to all! :)

    Tory/Magoo~~

  • I'm gonna check out the movie thanks Tory!! :}

    Bill is so funny.

  • Yay Bill!

  • congratulations Bill!

  • Can anyone join the SP club? What do I have to do to join? It must be the most exclusive club in the world.

  • In theory, it's 2% of all the world's population, according to Ronnie! Except in practice it's really "everyone not a scientologist" (not quite, but close enough to).

Estimating sci numbers at 50,000, that means... scientologists are 0.00075% of the population, give or take fudged up David Miscarriage bookkeeping inflating their numbers.

Most inclusive club, really. And hey! No brainwashing required.

  • Religulous is fucking amazing and quite funny at the same time. A triumph of rationality. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to get a good laugh at Scientology et all.

  • yeah... simultaneously amazing, funny, and terrifying.

    these people VOTE...

  • Wonder if this is showing in Australia. Will go see.

  • Those SP declaration forms are wonderful- I suppose only either those previously in the cult or famous people can get them- otherwise the cult would run out of paper really quickly!

  • Now thats a movie I'll have to go see. Never heard of Bill Mahr but now i have thanks tory for that lovely update =D

  • Religulous was an awesome film. i watched it opening night. great film. great message. the scene where he's talking to the crowd about scientology is priceless lol

  • Welcome to the club, Bill! We're happy to have you!

  • A few weeks back a show called "THS Investigates" (the "E" channel)did a feature on cults, mind control, ect. As far as i know, scientology was never mentioned at all. I wonder why? Maybe because hollywood is still full of cowardly producers? But anyway, 3 cheers for Mr. Maher. :)

  • Scientology probably got on it, as we did back when I was "in", and talked them out of it (basically---they threaten them with law suits, or calling them bigots, etc. Whatever they have to do, to get out of being called a CULT). They'd be much smarter to just stop doing CULT things, but then they'd be out of business, wouldn't they?

    My best :)

    Tory/Magoo

  • People seem to forget the exact meaning of the word cult anyways. All religions are cults; the meaning of 'a false religion' (as if some of them were true) has been tacked on since the original usage.

  • That's oversimplification. A group is defined as a cult if they meet most of these characteristics:

    1. It uses psychological coercion to recruit, indoctrinate and retain its members.

    2. It forms an elitist totalitarian society.

    3. Its founder/leader is self-appointed, dogmatic, messianic, not accountable and has charisma.

    4. It believes 'the end justifies the means' in order to solicit funds and recruit people.

    5. Its wealth does not benefit its members or society.

    I hope that helps you.

  • See, you made the same mistake. That's the meaning most people attach to the word now, but going to church/mosque/bleh is cult practice. It's what the word means.

1:a particular system of religious worship, esp. with reference to its rites and ceremonies.

    3.the object of such devotion.

4.a group or sect bound together by veneration of the same thing, person, ideal, etc.

Google "cult dictionary". #6 touches what you describe, but 'cult' is a proper term for all religions/ious practices

  • I've come back from several pages listing definitions for the word "cult", and found various conflicting results. Your definition was the least abundant and most extreme, and likely is a product of an ideology intolerant of all form of religion (I.e. secular humanism).

What most any definition of "cult" means, in spirit of the definitions, is an unorthodox group practice that is not beneficial to society.

  • Great, so now I'm intolerant of religions because I'm pointing out that the definition of the word "cult" doesn't necessarily imply something bad. I think you skipped a few steps in your reasoning there, buddy. How is it "extreme"? How is secular humanism intolerant to religions? To be fair, I am intolerant to bad arguments like you're using. Why? Because they show just how pathetically ignorant you are in your drive to talk down to "intolerant secular humanists". No other reason, is there?

  • You're jumping all over the place. And worse, you've resorted to name-calling. Cool your jets.

You're complaining that I don't think humanists are tolerant of religion. You called all religions "cults". Did you really think that would go unargued? Cults are a bad thing.

Reason #1 that you provided used the word "particular", in context of a distinction between a cult and orthodoxy. Do you see it?
