The bands from Little Britain were great but not better. They enjoyed more success because they were promoted much better . Pete Townshend who I saw 4 or 5 times in person and who was my idol as a teenager was really just an adequate rhythm guitarist and could only play very basic leads.

Clearly you don't understand how public internet services like google, youtube, facebook, etc. work. To keep their massive servers running isn't exactly free, they need to pay for it somehow. So unless you'd rather pay extra taxes every paycheck in return for your ad-free entertainment, I'd suggest you stop complaining.

As for infringement and fair use, I'm probably pulling the same side of the rope on that one. But all these people getting pissed off because of advertisements need to comprehend that there is a COST to youtube. Be prepared to pay a SUBSCRIPTION or be prepared to be advertised at. It's how the entire internet works. Cash or Adverts, pick one.
