I have always been a Frampton fan since the 1976 concert at Anaheim Stadium and sadly I did not remember Yes playing then although I am sure they did. I enjoyed Frampton at this concert as much as in 1976, but Yes in 2010 was AWESOME!!
Yes is Jon Anderson, Tony Kay, Travor Rabin, Chris Squire, Allen White. Argue all you want. Best line up. Greatest songs. Period.... Sorry to all the hippies I offended. Not. Hope you're feeling well Jon... They need you bad.
You can see Trevor and Steve do not get on well. Their body language says it all .
Its mock Yes , I feel sorry for Oliver Wakeman , brought in to play his father , such a shame just to keep Chris happy , shouldnt have put all his royalties up his nose !
Hmmm. ... maybe I should accept the fact that Yes is basically over with. This seems phoned in in the biggest way. It doesn't sound like Yes wants to 'own' the performance.
the rolling stones without mick jagger singing are not the rolling stones. i guess chris squire has naming rights over jon, because this yes tribute show should no way on gods green earth be called "YES" without jon singing with the band. and all this time i thought the jon was "co-founder". way to screw over the guy you found the band with, chris! did you hear the news? HE WANTS TO SING WITH YOU GUYS. LET HIM COME BACK YOU DICK.
@michaeldspencer i love jon but this guy did just fine i was there i enjoyed it very much no complaints and jon isnt just the only important member what about howe and squire
Well, perhaps things at The Greek were not up to par, but we here in Seattle just saw Yes 2 days ago, and it was absolutely tremendous. I enjoyed every breathtaking moment of it.
I agree. I didn't really want to see this group, but Frampton brought me in. Frampton's show was nearly flawless. As Yes began their show, I considered leaving more than once. Slow. Not tight. Old. Eventually things picked up enough to make me stay. CTTE was far better than I expected. It wasn't Benoit that dragged down the show for me, though Jon was missed. It was the whole package that suffered. No single band member was bad, but the band was not up to the standard most of us might expect.
It's just too too strange for me to see this new singer. The vibe just doesn't work for me. Still love you guys for what you've done but....I could never go see them butcher AYAI

They sound good for me. I'm 48 yr. old. They look so ancient, but the music's still young and fresh. Forever unbeatable!

Yeah, I agree - just not the same.
I could have seen them when they played in Milwaukee recently, but it wouldn't have been the "Yes" I've always wanted to see.
Kinda reminds me of this quote: “This is my grandfather’s axe: my father fitted it with a new stock, and I have fitted it with a new head.”
