Alberto Contador, is 27, has won Tour, Giro and Vuelta and still has room for some progression. Sorry folks but Armstrong is just a good rider with an Awful lot of merit, probably the best rider of all time, but at 37 is very unlikely he can make it against AC who is an extraordinary rider. This is a bit like Michael Jordan last come back, don´t expect much more than that. Respect for Armstrong though.

Totally agree; it has been shown in the 2 important Mountain stages that Contador is the best.
But it would be awesome if Armstrong somehow could pull it off. Maybe a bad day for Alberto or somethin, you never know.

Lance tested positive for EPO 6 times! You can be SURE Lance Pharmstrong cheated! He worked with Dr. Ferrari (EPO, Blood doping, androgenics, HGH presciptions and programs). His teamate Frankie Andreau used EPO! So did Manuel Beltran. Lance's support rider Benoit Jochim tested pos for his Deca-Durabolin while Lance's team was transporting cow blood (actovegin) across the French border to be doped with.
ON July 4th 1999 Lance had his first positive drug test for kenacort (cortisone). Then EPO!

Ever hear of Secretriat? he was a unbelieveable racehorse that wo races by 16 lengths. After his death, it was found that his heart was 1 1/2 times the size of a raceorse allowing him to be much more efficient. maybe lance is just genetically better than those other competitors. The French will be pissed because a lot of them don't like Lance at all and are convinced he was doping. Many don't like the idea of an American dominating the race. The team is garbage because of all the financial turmoil and the fact many of the racers were not getting paid on time. And next year they want to get rid of Lance and all the great riders and replace them with guys from Kazakhstan (Borat's country). Kazakhstan finances the team.

But you're doing exactly what you said we shouldn't do, and that's judge McGwire without him testing positive. As for steroids, there are steroids that don't make you huge. If you have asthma for example the medicine in the inhaler that you are given is a steroid. It is designed to open up your lungs so you can take in more air. I personally believe that is what Armstrong was on, just a strong dosage. It would explain why he always dominated in the high altitude of the mountains.

Armstrong is a very dubious cyclist! I hope they keep a strong eye on him and his team mates. Last time he won the tour, it was because Floyd Landis, his helper was doped up like a junkie. My opinion is that having a doped up helper is just as much cheating as taking the stuff yourself.
