When I was "on the air" at WING in Dayton,Ohio in the mid 60's I MCed a show at Dayton's famous DIAMOND CLUB,,Jerry Lee was there,,backstage he was drinking the straight stuff,,and to all our amazement he was "bitchin' about who was the better piano player HIM or Fats Domino. We never figured out why? He had a large German Shephard dog with him.

@bluejay02920 Maybe but the name of the first son of JLL was Steve Allen Jr because after the first show of Steve Allen , JLL began to be a legend and he never forget it. I know Steve Allen was a very good pianist and loved Jazz music (fantastic tv show with Bill Evans in the sixties) but ok he liked joke in the fifities with the young rock and roll generation.
