Very nice. This was also my very first visit to the KWVR, I enjoyed their gala too, especially their atmospheric "candlelight" train on the Sat night, and the Real Ale bar!

I was there saturday too! my first visit to KWVR and we had a top quality day. Managed to ride behind all the locos & toured the engine sheds too (had to go in just to see the Bullied tucked away in the corner). 73129 sounded well good, we had no trouble hearing it from the rear of the train lol. A great line up of locos with a lot of slipping out of Keighley for extra entertainment too, we will definitely be visiting again. A great video as usual with some well thought out shots, nice one.

@red347 haha me and you seem to be passing each other every week now! yeah my ears are still ringing from 73129 up the bank! how was the Bullied progessing, saw it breifly last year and it seemed to have all the streamlining on and boiler in last time i saw it

@GWRDec Yeh I've really enjoyed the last 2 weekends train bashing in Yorkshire. Next gala should be Churnet Valley next month with the new section of line open & some good locos. Yes I'm a fan of Bullieds & City of Wells seems to be making good progress, I will deffo be coming up to see her when shes back in steam.

I saw you at haworth yesterday. I was in uniform on 80002's 1st train that u filmed & on 73129's first passenger. You looked straight at em at one point! Great Video!

Absolutly Supurb vid!! That class 5 was just simply wonderful barking its way up out of Keighley! Good shot of the Jinty and Ivatt on the goods at Ingrow.Nice to see a loco facing a different way to what everyone is used to.

@SBsteamtrainvideos yeah tbh I wish they ran an engine facing Keighley at every gala, something different (isn't that what a gala is meant to be?) yeah mine and my friends, who was on the other front window, ears were ringing by the time we got to ingrow, then again passing through Ingrow tunnel! thanks for comment!

This is the first gala I've missed since the early nineties. I am a member of the line but didn't go because the visitor was facing the wrong way. It's a long way to go to get shots of engines you've seen hundreds of times before.

nice video mate, liked the shot of 957 at oakworth, also of 73129 arriving into hawroth was nice, nice to see something facing keighley, something differant. The standard double header was nice also, made a nice noise out of keighley Liked!
