The reason that Titanic sank was not all because of the iceberg, but partly because of it. The steel rivets put in Titanic where it hit the iceberg were defective, resulting in Titanic sinking. If the rivets weren't defective, they could have spared a couple thousand lives. This is coming from someone who knows A LOT about Titanic. Please don't send hate comments.

The Britannic was converted to a hospital ship for WWI, eventually, it hit a mine and sank, the Lusitania was hit by German U-boat U-20, and the Titanic was obviously hit an iceberg however a documentary on the history channel I saw the other day stated it did not lift at a 90 degree angle like the video above shown, but rather sank at a 45 degree angle.

Lusitania-1915 Germans fired a single torpedo and lusitania and it sunk in aboat 20 mins.

Britannic-1916 German spy put exploses off and the britanic sunk in aboat 50 min.
