@TurkEgenikon If Uyghur ppl can sing and dance so beautifully in China where is the evil? Please open ur eyes and heart. Even in Turkey there're Kurds, Armania,Greeks...

Well if you don't like China ruling the territory, come take it. Whine like a crybaby all you want, but doesn't change the fact the region is administered by China.
At around 700 hundred years ago, inner chinese ppl then start using "sunnay", and it became one of the most important musical instrument of theirs!! So what i'm trying to say is, because of "sunnay" 's well known by chinese ppl, maybe the using of it might make some ppl think this music is chinese style, but that's not true...
there are some turkish people who live in china and they are considered a minority. they have been living there for quite a decent amount of time. that's why there's chinese style to it as well.
just a correction, we're not Turkish, we'er Turkic!!and the music has nothing to do with chinese, the instrument that the guy playing is called "sunnay" in uyghur, the first such instrument was appeared in Persian and Arabian coutries, the name "sunnay" is actually directly taken from its Persian name "Surna"...later it was adopted by uighurs.....

oh okay i'm sorry. i used generalized terms which are incorrect. i didn't mean anything by it. all i knew was that this is a minority group in china (or considered in the texts that i read). but thanks for clarification.

Uyghurs are Turks, they belong to the Turkic nation. Their language belongs to the Altaic family. That's why even Turks from the balkans can understand the uyghur language. This music is Turkic and is used all over Turkish countries in Central Asia and Eurasia. Uyghuristan is not chinese, just like Outer Mongolia, Tibet and Taiwan aren't either.
East-Turkestan and Outer-Mongolia are not Chinese. Why did you Chinese build the Chinese wall in the first place? To stop invading nations from the north (Mongolians) and from the east (Turkic tribes). We know our history. I understand why people don't like my comments, but the truth is never pleasant to hear.
@0colaturka0 You invade me and we invade you, this is how human history goes, only difference is that China can afford a wall, you can't, get over it.
@havocrein Get over what? I didn't say it didn't belong to Zongghuo, I said it was not Chinese. Why would you call it 'outer-Mongolia' or 'Xinjiang' (meaning New Frontier) then? We don't have a need to build a wall against anyone since we are a nation that has never been ruled by a foreign power. Hell, even our name Turk was given by the Chinese which called us Tūjué (literally meaning strong) and we breached your wall many times (our ancestors the Huns). Anyway, we're not enemies anymore : )
@havocrein Actually, Turks support China becoming the new superpower. If you can manage to surpass the States and we Europe, then the centre of the world will be Asia again and the rest 'periphery' ; )
hmmmm, the background music is from the Uyghur folk song Gul bagh. So there's nothing related with Chinese. Plz do not be misunderstand by the words of those ignorent chinese people.
i love the background song. i think it's the same song you hear on uyghur dancing at xinjiang university clip. anybody know where i can find good uyghur music on the internet?
Just been to China and fell in love with Uyghur culture during 10 days in Xinjian.
