I woke up drunk about 3 hours away from Vladimir, Russia once. Was at a very nice lakeside lodge owned by an oil company. My roots are from Yugoslavia, Serbia to be precise and we have very many similarities with Russia.

The language and alphabet are similar and many words are similar too.

We have a similar soup that we make with European Carp.

In many countries the carp is a pest and many people do NOT eat it due to its muddy flavour as well as many small bones.

It is a delicacy however and they refer to it as "Riba Corba" pronounced "Riba Chorba",a fish soup.Luv you.
