Why does YouTube offer the uploaders a chance to include info about the video in the description when no one reads them anyway? To point out that this is fake when that fact is evident from the description only makes the pointer look like a fool.

I still don't see why madhatter149 needs to comment saying this is fake. And what is so conventional about it? Yes, it is indeed fake.
But it was not likely to have been intended for photo-realism, if that's what you are saying. It looks to be a physics demonstration, so if he was talking about the physics (which he wasn't), then he still was not acting too intelligently, because he gave no details.
