Are you using the trigger output on the DR-110 or just output?

@andy92811 just the output, but you can use the trigger, the "click" will be use by the SYB to play.

@SONGSTICKS Digitech pedal is more a filter, but with better tracking, and easy to play with. SYB-3 is more a synth but not easy to use.

You can send various line-signals through like bassguitars, but also keyboards, samplers, guitars. Just try it somewhere if you like the sound..

But also other brands have synthesizer pedals, like: Ibanez & Electro Harmonix

not better : SYB-3 sounds more "analog" to me, but there's a LFO in the SYB-5, and the SYB-5's tracking is better.
